A COLD snap gripped Hong Kong yesterday, with residents shivering as temperatures plunged to their lowest point in nearly 60 years and frost dusted the mountaintops of a city used to a subtropical climate. Weather officials issued a frost warning saying an "intense cold surge" was in place, coupled with chilling monsoon winds. Morning temperatures dropped to 3.3 Celsius in urban areas of the south China city, where most buildings lack central heating, and below freezing on the hills.

Here in relatively near Kumamoto , Japan it was minus 10 C this morning - the coldest it has gotten at least since we moved here in 1995 .
Must be “climate change.”
91 F here today, and high humidity. Very uncomfortable.
Mega envy .
3.3 Celsius = 37.94 Fahrenheit <- this precise as we know the temperatures are accurate recorded.....
The heat is here 365 days a year. The humidity makes it uncomfortable.
Pretty soon they will be saying global warming causes local cooling. Along with expanding ice sheets. More snow. And a lack of summer. At some point even the most gullible will start to question the premise. They hope to have martial law in place by then.
I take back what I said . ^_^
Tonight at dinner, a friend of mine said one of his workers just wrapped up vacation in Shizuoka (not proper, but an outlying city/village). Said they reported it rained quite a bit and was colder than normal. Good weather for visiting owl cafes...
I thought they were ALREADY saying this.
It is colder, therefore it must be warming. / end global warming cultist “thought”.
It’s nice living here, but the weather will get you down. There is never any relief. It is HOT every day of the year.
I never experienced Hong Kong winter
Summers are brutal
Like Houston or New Orleans
Or Lagos or Rio
Worse.....Singapore
NOAA says.. Globally warmest year ever.. Even warmer than last year and two years ago.. Both warmest years globally, ever. Hong Kong must be so warm, they froze. NASA has proven, after the atmosphere get scientifically past the hottest measurable point, it actually freezes. The dept of Ed, has an experiment your indoctrinated kids can watch on a video... It costed 90 gatrillion dollars for the study, but it’s consensus.
If I were a rich man ( cue up Fiddler On The Roof ) and had to live in the USA , despite the liberalism that rules the place , I’d live on the Big Island of Hawaii , in Kona . Eternal spring ...
Channeling the Jack Nicholson character from A Few Good Men?
Folks, I hate to say it... Climate Change is here.
Well, we should be okay if all he Cold Climate Change balances out the Warm Climate Change.
Woe to us if they imbalance. Civilization is on a tightrope!!
What’s an owl cafe?
