Saddam was one the worst mass-murdering genocidal tyrants of the latter 20th Century. He did not deserve to reign in the 21st.
Toppling Saddam got Qaddafi to surrender his nuclear weapons program that we did not know he had and led to the roll-up of the AQ Khan network of nuclear weapons components proliferation.
