Natalie Maines infamously spoke her mind about war and then-President George W. Bush back in 2003, when she told a London crowd that she was âashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas.â Now, the Dixie Chicks member is bringing that comment back to mind and voicing her opinion on Republican presidential candidate (and fellow Texan) Ted Cruz.

Thanks but I am just a country girl living in the city now. After my daughter died, my other daughter and I were in a store which had kid’s punching bags. I told her that was me. I could get knocked down but I always pop back up. We do what we have to do and we are much stronger than we think. God bless.
“Liberal” “Troll” “Get back to DU.”
Those with a lack of intelligence or experience in life tend to be those who call names, cannot discuss an issue, and resort to ad hominem attacks.
You cannot refute anything is say, so you call names. Sad.
Obama let too many of you out of GITMO.
Natalie Maines infamously spoke her mind about war and then-President George W. Bush back in 2003...
And I don’t think they’ve had a hit since then.
You signed up less than two weeks ago to post this crap?
Saddam Hussein paid the families of suicide bombers over $50,000 as a reward for their relative’s sacrifice. Even New York Times admits Iraq had WMD.
Hard to believe the Dixie Chicks were once on the Top Of The World and threw it all away just to spew a little political hate and venom.
I had been home on leave and saw them on a morning “news” show. They sang while a young man played guitar. The three “chicks” were introduced but nobody mentioned the guitarists. At that point I already figured they lacked decency.
Who do you think gave Saddam the WMD? WE DID.
Please refute anything I have said, instead of calling names, If you are capable.
Who do you think gave Saddam the WMD? WE DID.
YOU DID???!!!
Then you ought to go on trial for war crimes!
You’re a BAD SQUIRREL!!!
You outted yourself with the ‘war crimes’ garbage. Saddam and his sons were state sponsors of terrorists, paying bounty to the families of suicide bombers. We got rid of three Husseins, and gained one for ourselves.
Funny that the anti war trash like you have been entirely silent for the last eight years. Guess your okay with our troops STILL in Iraq with one of your kind still in office.
The collective pronoun “we” refers to the US and Britain in this case. Do I have to spell out everything for you people?
“antiwar trash.”
More name calling from the inarticulate and uninformed.
I am opposed to all wars that are unnecessary. War must be the last resort. I have been against the first Gulf War (Saddam was set up by April Glaspie), the war against Yugoslavia, the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq (the Saudi’s attacked the US not these two countries), and Obama’s over throw of Egypt, Ukraine, Libya, and the attempted overthrow of Syria. I hold the Democrat, and Republican parties in equal contempt. I am not alone. That is why Trump is so popular. We hate both parties for their stupidity, unnecessary military adventures, and from repeatedly betraying America.
“Saddam paid bounty to families of suicide bombers.”
Is that all you have as a reason to invade Iraq, kill and maim vast amounts of American soldiers and Iraqi civilians, destroy a country, create many more jihaddis, and hand Iraq over to the control of Iran? You really think it was worth it?
Have you two been posing for pictures with the jihadis again?
You have no facts only emotions to base your position upon. Don’t girls do that?
You have stated the Nasty Natalie Ditzy Chix hate America, anti-war nonsense... Not me. From what you post it would seem like two of the three showed up on this thread. Either that or one of Saddam's sympathizers.
Still you have nothing to say. Just more invective.
Perhaps you need some help with other of your friends, because you clearly cannot hold you own in this discussion.
That’s the best endorsement he’s gotten this week. ....
If you’re on the same page as Natalie Maines, there’s nothing left to say...
