What do you mean they?
I've just located my pings and FR mail to this thread, and just checked the link to the site only to find your screen name prominently there and advocating the withholding of Donations to Free Republic.
In fact, the site looked like your creation, is it?
I'll let you in on a huge factoid. Echo chambers get boring fast, particularly those started by P.O'd. sulking FReepers. Been there, done that. S.T.U.P.I.D.
Honorable FReepers don't use FR mail to recruit.
To answer your silly question: I think I've seen 2 or 3 members post they won't vote for Cruz if he's our nominee, but I discounted their nay's as paybacks to the several members who firmly state that they will not vote for Trump if he's the nominee.
Primary season brings out the worst in some people.
Got your back
Saw someone post. SORECRUZERMAN. Posted recently
It reminded me when FreeRepublic was Strong and we stood as one against corruption. Some even placing a foot in the door of the election board to assure that counting of ballots would be in public.
We stood strong for the constitution and all our founding fathers stood for. Freedom of religion ment we each could worship a we chose and no one had a right to intimidate us if our reading of 2 was different than theirs.
That site is not my creation. I am still a monthly donor to FR. I support a place for conservatives to speak their minds without gross personal attacks or banishment.
You are a patriot with chops, onyx!
There are reasons for FReepers to be on the losing side of a surging tide from time to time, but coming around through the admonishment of other FReepers, and self correcting, and appreciating what this site has broadly accomplished, which is legendary, is acknowledgement of the fact that cutting edge politics LIVES HERE.
Jim Robinson, knowledge is power, and I am grateful you for openly sharing what is going on. You always exhibit fearless leadership in the face of slander and leave us better informed, and armed to see the divisive tactics that infiltrate and damage.
You make us READY for RESISTANCE, and hand to hand combat.
We can not have closet tyrants in the house and hope for waging a meaningful battle against the much larger enemy.
I get it. We all see what you have to deal with that hither-fore, we had no real clue.
Thank you for trusting us with a heads up that matters!
“Primary season brings out the worst in some people.”
Amen. This has really turned into a mess.
At last someone who knows how great Free Republic is, and will defend it as we all are doing...some of us, on restricted incomes, donate when we can, some of us are monthly donors, and glad to pitch in and support this great site...
I have been here for 15 years, have had my say about things, some good, some bad, but Free Republic is a place we all meet and make FRiends, and I have made a lot of friends here...
I like the quality of this site, I love to read about other peoples opinions, some I agree with, some I don't, but you won't find a better site than this nor will you find a better person than Jim Robinson...the man we all love and support and thank him everyday for the service to his Country!!!
GO. FREE REPUBLIC. GO!!! GO. AMERICA. GO!!! and GO.TRUMP.GO!!!
Over Hillary, I will vote for the town drunk.
However in all honesty, Bush & Kasich are creeping me out over their OPEN AMNESTY agenda. Rubio has made a turn in right direction, so he is better than those two. Cruz was for path to legal status 2 years ago, but also has made a turn in the right direction.
My #1 agenda is dealing with the illegals and slowing down legal immigration.
My #2 agenda is to stop getting screwed by China ($505 Billion trade deficit every year). That is the main cause so many good middle class jobs have disappeared. I would rather have a good job and pay 25% higher price for American made stuff, than have no job and buy cheap stuff at Wal-Mart.
I will campaign against all neocons in primaries,
but will vote against Hillary in general. I have had it up to my eyeballs with futile, money wasting, wounded warriors creating, wars in the middle-east. They are not ready for democracy and tolerance. They are not the same as India or Thailand or Singapore.
