JANUARY 22, 2016 ~ CONSISTENTCONSERVATIVES
This is an emergency means for us to keep in touch with our FRiends, who are real Conservatives, in case of purging. Or, if there is no purging, do we really want to continue our discussions in the forum where the owner despises us for not supporting his non-Conservative candidate?
My purpose is to figure out what to do to continue our discussions to advance Conservatism.
You are insulting Jim as usual, and the rest of us. Feel free to post your stuff on other threads.

gg188 didn’t make it clear, but he/she was reposting things that were said on the consistent conservative blog.
He/she did not say that stuff, the people over there did.
I went back and read it.
Can’t say I was that impressed by gg188 trolling over there to collect the very worst remarks that were made and post them here.
I can’t believe the general tone over there was anything like the stuff he posted.

He certainly did not make it clear and someone told me there were thousands of posts on that site from which he apparently skimmed the very worst.
What was the point in that?
It just served to create more division.

Cruz supporters have as much right to post as anyone else.
It's just amazing. Reminds me of reading the headlines or just the excerpt and posted portion of the article, but never, never, never the entire linked article! No, no, no, that takes too much effort and time!
I do NOT pretend that Mr. Trump is flawless. I find several of his attacks on Cruz cringe-worthy, primarily because I very much like Cruz and disagree with the premise that Cruz is not a NBC and I do not find Cruz a "nasty man."
Quite the opposite, in fact. I think Cruz is "too much the gentleman," in a court-of-law mannered way. I also think Cruz makes a concerted effort to hide his brilliance by acting too diminutive, when he should go ahead and take charge! Show his brilliance! Make the other guy look foolish!

I went to that link last night and read them. Post 535 is a tip of the iceberg.
There were many more nasty posts about people coupled with the usual sanctimonious banter.
I don’t have a mole.
I’ve never been to the site.
It was not presented to me as an anti-Free Republic site at all, but a place ... similar to the live-thread Trump events where people are encouraged to refrain from posting anything negative about Trump.
I have respected that request from the Trump people.
The only reason I did not go there was I was leery of an alternate site and didn’t feel the need for one.
Trump supporters can be pretty bad but they can’t and don’t hurt me. I feel sorry for them. They are sincere and worshipping someone who doesn’t deserve it.

I read enough of the posts on that site to know that #535 is accurate. In fact, I read enough of the comments at that site to identify the majority of the posters. No shocking surprises.
I will continue to post information and my opinion regarding Trump just as other Trump supporters do so about Cruz.....if you find they are not to your liking then you are FREE to scroll on by.
I resent that you’re accusing me of insulting the owner of this sight by posting on this thread....he was smart to bring the blog here, under the roof of FR, so that all might respond as they might.
I will not determine who or not has a right to post on any thread....that is not my place or yours to determine. The title alone attracted me here because FR is a place for Conservatives to gather.....even when they might not agree to what they see a conservative as.
BTW Quoting others thoughts on Christian or Conservatism was not what my initial post referenced , which you commented on, it was about Trumps voting history....so these are off the initial topic.
Sorry you were hurt by negative posts about Palin.
I neither saw any nor participated in any.
I did see people saying they were disappointed in her decision and questioning why she would do what she did.
I also saw people making negative comments about her speaking voice and it was awful.
But nothing I considered an orgy of hatred.
Why did you feel it necessary to go there?
