True. But they rent Heidi.
“Cruz supporters be like...”
Uneducated ghetto lingo does NOT belong on FR.
Another Trump supporter that hates capitalism?
Racist... lolz
I suspect most of the Cruz bashers are in some little cubical paid by Trump, or sitting in some IHOP with the free WI FI and paying for 1 cup of coffee while drinking many more in fill ups and exposing their sophomoric personalities.........
If they Zot you consider it a Compliment. Anymore this place has become a Mosque for people praying to their god Trump. Its like a darn cult. And if you dare to insult Trump you are “fair Game”( read up on the L Ron Hubbard Churches treatment of people who speak against the CoS).
This used to be a fun place for conservatives to come and speak about ideas but now its like a insane asylum.
Dump Beck and the Gang of 22 should be first priority! Big mistake.
Goldman Sachs is capitalism? Do you sell criminally bad products to retirees, widows and orphans like Cersei Cruz? LOL.
“Lying about a good man to prop up their candidate. Sad.”
You mean like
CRUZ LOVES OBAMA! and
CRUZ IS PRO-CHOICE!
Oh, wait. Sorry. Wrong candidate there. Those were Trump lies that have gone up in the last couple of days.
Remind me, what exactly are the vile lies being posted about Ted Cruz?
The Gang of 22 never even mentioned Ted Cruz did they? They were just against Trump. Stupid move by the small-c dinosaur media. As for Glenn Beck, yep he’s all over the place, but on this one he is 100% correct. He will have to do until we find better cheerleaders. Last I checked, Sarah Palin isn’t available.
BTW, there are a bunch of FReepers who think you are for Ted Cruz first, and Donald Trump if he happens to win. I think it’s the other way around. What say you?
Beck is an idiot. He’s never been right about anything in his entire life. Freaking moron. Schizophrenic.
Doubtful that Cruz will recover from this lunacy. At least not in this election cycle.
Can you not build up and promote your own candidate without tearing another one down? Cruz is a good Senator and citizen and will be needed to go to bat for whoever is elected president. This country cannot survive on the efforts of only one man.
I’m not altogether unsympathetic to your characterization of Beck. But back in the days when he was doing his chalk board routine on Fox News he was spot on. That’s when he gained the lion share of his supporters IMHO. But after that, his familiar demons began to take back over, and well, the rest is history. But he is doing the absolute right thing by standing up for Ted Cruz, no question about it!
This forum is a blessing. Here, thanks to JR, we celebrate our constitutional consciousness as we disagree at times on important issues.
The one issue we all agree on is “tolerance:” the idea that a free society is based on a mutual respect if not for each others’ views at least for our right to express them.
It really is sad to watch all this unfold. We’re used to fighting over scraps. Now, we have TWO anti-establishment candidates who are dominating the polls, and what happens? The usual circular firing squad breaks out. But this time we instead are aiming at our own feet.
Heidi didn't advance to the level of managing director at Goldman Sachs without agreeing with the organizational goals of those above her in the organization. If elected president, Ted would find all SORTS of reasons for agreeing with whatever advice Heidi would give him regarding GS.
I'd expect Ted to be doing whatever is in the best interests of Goldman Sachs as much as any president in history.
Saying that he isn't "owned" is just differing on the name you give to the relationship.
And Trump will clearly do whatever is in the best interest of the Trump corporation as managed by his children. Where are you going to find this magical president who has never worked for a corporation or whose spouse or children have never worked for a corporation? You can make up some silly conflict of interest for anybody.
As a conservative, I have never woken up in a cold sweat after a nightmare about Goldman Sachs. Destroying Goldman Sachs has never been a top agenda item for me. Why are they such a boogeyman suddenly, other than as a convenient line of attack against Cruz?
When has Cruz ever gone against a conservative position and gone with something Goldman Sachs wanted instead?
If Cruz governs pro-life, pro-gun, anti-NSA surveillance, anti-same-sex-marriage, tax-cutting, budget-balancing, nominating Scalia-like judges, anti-Obamacare, etc., I couldn’t care less if he outright sends a billion-dollar check to Goldman Sachs. It’d be a worthy trade-off.
