SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — The rain didn’t deter thousands of pro-life supporters at the annual March for Life, in San Francisco on Saturday.

The group marched and rallied outside City Hall.

“We believe in showing the world that there’s this vast number of people her supporting this cause,” said Sebastian Lemmon.

The late Martin Luther King’s niece, Dr. Alveda King, led the opening prayer.

This year’s march comes on the heels of a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood over videos that claim to show staffers negotiating prices for aborted fetal tissue.

CBS was probably hoping some pro-life person went gonzo and attacked a pro-death person so they could film it. Don’t put it past them, the media, not to arrange for provocation to create that kind of “news” at 10.....

When a huge event like a Promise Keepers or an anti-abortion rally are held you don’t see mayhem and violence as you would if a WTO or a union rally were held. Whose side is bashing in store windows, looting buildings, getting into confrontations with law enforcement, and leaving filth and trash at big gatherings?

Work obligations kept me away from the event this year. Only the second time I’ve missed this Walk For Life.
