Fox polls: Trump ahead in Iowa, New Hampshire (Trump +11 in Iowa, Trumo +17 in NH)

Donald Trump has a strong lead over Ted Cruz in Iowa with about a week left before the first nomination contest on Feb. 1, according to a Fox News poll.

The poll of Iowa voters shows Trump with 34 percent among likely Republican caucus-goers, an 11-point bump from two weeks ago. Cruz is now at 23 percent, slightly down from 27 percent in the last poll.

The poll also shows that among "very" conservative voters, there's a more even split between Cruz and Trump, who received 34 percent and 33 percent of that vote, respectively. Cruz had an 18-point advantage over Trump in the last poll conducted by Fox News.

In New Hampshire, Trump has more than twice the support of Cruz, the next closest candidate. The Fox News poll has Trump at 31 percent and Cruz at 14 percent. Marco Rubio follows with 13 percent.

Cruz had an 18-point lead in Fox’s last IA poll.

Get that? STUNNING. That’s a 29-point shift in a month. “New York Values” was a big mistake.

Wait, I think the poll means Cruz had an 18 point advantage among “very conservative.” My mistake, but it is poorly worded, as most these writeups are.

LOL. I was thinking the same thing too. Anything to excuse Ted’s questionable political moves.

Plus those polls were taken before Cruz made the horrendous mistake of getting on a stage with Glenn Beck and letting Beck swear him in on a Mormon compass. Oye Ve!

“When’s the national primary.”

Oh, wait. Now IA is Trump territory. Next fall back line?

Trump is going to take IA, NH and SC. From that point on, it will just be a formality.

I will tell you what SOME of this is-—it’s people all across America, in every ideological group, telling the DC elites “screw you.” The more they rail against him (i.e. National Review) the more people gravitate toward Trump on grounds he must be doing something right.

And you Cruzers, keep in mind I said all along that the establishment GOPe media did NOT like Cruz, that they were writing SOME good thing about him to stop Trump and only to stop Trump. So consider this: the GOPe and National Review had a great opportunity to do a whole issue on why everyone should support Ted. Why didn’t they do that? Because, as I said all along, Cruz was a “bait and switch” for Rubio, their real candidate. Some of you wouldn’t accept that at the time. I think that NR issue makes my case.

re>New conspiracy theory: Beck was a Trump plant!!!

Then Trump is truly brilliant. Beck is single handedly destroying Cruz.

Still can’t predict anything. Thursday’s debate could halt Cruz’ slide and further boost Rubio enough to allow both to make a run at Trump after IA and NH even if Trump wins both.

It’s going to be an interesting couple of months.

I think the NR is saying to themselves, "Oh man, did we screw up".
