Here’s an intriguing question: Who would Cruz choose as his vice president? And who, specifically, would he nominate to the SCOTUS (keeping John Roberts in mind). We were pondering this over breakfast.

You know, I’m not sure who Cruz would choose as a VP. Probably wouldn’t be Trump. ;-)
As far as who Cruz would nominate for SCOTUS, I have no idea. He may know some legal wonks that he’s worked with as an attorney that he might put forth. I’d like to believe he would try and nominate a strict constructionist. Sadly, you cannot predict how Justices will change with time. Reagan appointed O’Connor and Kennedy...yikes!
Bash Beck all you want. Trash Cruz and Cruz supporters. You are doing nothing but alienating people that you may need when it comes down to the general election. And for goodness sake, stop acting like the Obamabots and nitpicking statements and quotes just to make your case. At least be honest.

Beck saying at a Cruz rally he prefers more invasion to Trump is not inflammatory to Trump supporters? Hardly. It is very much alienating to Trump supporters. Yet you seem ok with it. Interesting. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander, IMO.
Cruz really needs to move on from Beck. He’s going to hurt him nationally as time moves on.

“more invasion” - WTF are you talking about? Because he thinks Sanders is honest but Trump is not? But not to worry - Donald said that he is going to make great deals and work with the establishment. THAT is what is offensive to me.
Cruz supporters have done all they could to alienate those who might not support him in primaries. But it seems many Trump supporters have the maturity to overlook that and support Cruz if he is the nominee. Most on FR love our country too much to take a chance on a traitor like Hillary or a commie like Sanders.
I think Beck is over consumed with his hate against Trump. He has TDS. He sounds, with those conments, like a establishment politician in the GOP pledging to vote third-party, vote Hillary, or leave the party if Trump is the nominee.
How could Beck have forced Cruz to take the oath of office. He could have simply declined or made a joke. A Dukakis moment sadly.

Sir I said nothing about Beck and Sanders. I said Cruz supporters are often rude and alienating as are a few Trump supporters but not like Cruz folks. Reading before posting will help to stay on topic.
Cruz has destroyed himself....picking the madman, Glenn Beck to endorse him, was the dumbest move Ted Cruz could make!!! If there is one voter in Iowa that intends to caucus for Ted Cruz...you need to get on meds right away!!! This Glenn Beck led Ted Cruz rally was just like the “Jim Jones” rally where he handed out poisoned Kool-Aid to his church followers. The “Beck” performance was frightening!!! Cruz is finished!!!
