Here’s an intriguing question: Who would Cruz choose as his vice president? And who, specifically, would he nominate to the SCOTUS (keeping John Roberts in mind). We were pondering this over breakfast.

As far as who Cruz would nominate for SCOTUS, I have no idea. He may know some legal wonks that he’s worked with as an attorney that he might put forth. I’d like to believe he would try and nominate a strict constructionist. Sadly, you cannot predict how Justices will change with time. Reagan appointed O’Connor and Kennedy...yikes!
No question not Trump. He wouldn’t accept anyway.
We don’t know Cruz as well as we think we do. Or as much as some of his supporters would like for us to THINK we do.
