Just over a week before the first votes are cast in the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump has regained his lead over Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the state of Iowa. Trump now holds a 5-point lead over the Texas Republican, with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio lagging far behind in third place.
In New Hampshire, the race remains unchanged at the top, with Trump holding a commanding double-digit lead over his two closest-but-still-distant rivals Cruz and Rubio, who are locked in a tight battle for second place. Further down, Ohio Gov. John Kasich has edged past New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie into fourth place.
Looking ahead to South Carolina, Trump continues to hold a double-digit lead over Cruz, his closest competitor in that state.

You are correct.
Unfortunately, it is winner takes all. We watched this one year when our precinct caucus was over-run by Paul-bots. (Even more sickening was that you could tell that all of these people were straight out libs.)
It’s all about turnout. Just 5 - 10 people can make a big difference.

I think Fox has an Iowa poll where Trump’s lead is around +10 or 11

Where are all of the Cruzers who were quipping "When's the NATIONAL primary"???
Whatâs their comeback now??
Just pinged their spokesman, let's see what he has to say.

Jeb is looking good. Sandwiched in between Christie and iCarly.
Right where he should be, LOL.

Yeah. Interesting that as the MOE goes down in the polls as Trumps lead increases.

Cruz letting Beck up on a stage with him was dumb enough but not setting the agenda ahead of time was just insane. I have no doubt Beck pulled out the swearing in thing and Cruz was like a deer in headlights. He just went through with it not to make a fuss. Suicidal mistake.

Itâs SO EARLY now. Letâs wait until the people start focusing in the election, then weâll see Trump start to drop as people find you that heâs not a Reagan conservative. Just wait... (LOL)I see what you did there. Trump and Cruz are now so strong, I'd dare to say that, as a ticket, they could lead us to 16 years of recovery. Thoughts?

Donald Trump is on the verge of being the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party. It’s time to be BIG.
After Iowa votes, if Trump beats Cruz and is headed toward clear wins in NH and SC, the race is over. At this point, Trump should be focused on going after Cruz like Mike Tyson and score a knock out in round 1. Pettiness has to be over.

“Switch away from Cruz.”
You mean they’ll switch from the only guy wanting to kill they’re ethanol golden goose??? I’m shocked! Shocked I say!!
To: Redmen4ever
Pettiness has to be over. That one part of your post is so spot-on. The leader in this race, especially, should rise above the nitpicks and go BIG!!! I'm really not liking the "Sweathog" form of insults.

Except it jibes right in line with most recent national polls and with 11 out of 14 recent IA polls. So I don't care what the MOE is, it seems to be perfectly in line with all other polling.

Why are most of those folks still in the race? Apparently they have no idea how bad this looks.
