Well that sounds all well and good, but you folks haven’t understood Trump’s goals for seven months now. When are you going to start admitting what he has said he wants to do looks pretty damned good from a Conservative perspective?
You want to go back two to thirty years, but you don’t want to look at his platformm.
Perhaps that's because the only indicator we have to judge how a politician might act in office is by his record. And Trump's record has been liberal most of his life, by his own admission. You may be willing to take his recent claim to conservative principles at face value, but many of us are not.
Look, this is a man who could not even be honest with the most important people in his life - why should we expect he will be honest with us?
