The port of Calais was temporarily closed on Saturday after a ferry was stormed by 50 migrants from the nearby "Jungle" camp, earlier visited by Jeremy Corbyn.
Up to 500 migrants had broken off from a protest march through the town about migrants' conditions, according to the mayor, Natacha Bouchart.
Around 150 then broke through the port's perimeter fence, and 50 made it to the gangplanks of the P&O ferry Spirit of Britain. Photographs later showed the migrants standing on the upper decks of the ferry.
Police have arrested 24 migrants.
A further 11 people believed to be from the No Borders activist group were also detained after being found on the ship.
The group, which has British members in Calais, has been accused by police of encouraging migrants from the Jungle to riot.
Officials did not give the nationality of the No Borders activists detained.

I saw that a German girl posted onto Facebook that girls there can’t even go outside in a T shirt anymore - they huddle in their homes. She was begging the German men to protect their women.
According to the article Facebook took her post down. I am thinking of getting off FB.

It sounds like a coordinated, planned attack on the ferry by the No Borders group:

Penguins, Look Out!
We have seen, in two world wars, what Germans can do when they get upset.
Maybe many would like to defend their women, but if they do, they will be killed, imprisoned, lose their jobs, and be destroyed by their own government. They might feel like they are individuals, going up against the entire government, ALONE. Not a good prospect.
Maybe it is similar to the way American men think too, that we are alone, against the entire weight of the government.
For sure white men have been under terrible pressure for a long time. Maybe some adjustments needed to happen but it didn’t need to include the ridicule of white men that is so prevalent.
