3 inmates held on violent crimes escape Santa Ana jail

Southern California authorities launched a frantic manhunt Saturday after three inmates charged with violent crimes, including torture and murder, escaped an Orange County jail.

Why were these very bad players being held in county jail rather than state prison? Could it be part of the Prop 47 prison population reduction plan? Sleep well tonight South California.

Because they have been charged, not convicted. They do not send people to prison awaiting trial.

And this is why I don’t keep my personal defense unloaded and locked away. I live 5 miles away from this jail, if one of these inmates comes around my home they will have to deal with my 150 lbs. home defense system and my index finger actuated projectile launcher.

Hossein Nayeri, 37, had been held without bond since September 2014 on charges of kidnapping, torture, aggravated mayhem and burglary. Nayeri and three other men are accused of kidnapping a California marijuana dispensary owner in 2012. They drove the dispensary owner to a desert spot where they believed he had hidden money and then cut off his penis, authorities said.

If they are so desperate to recapture these guys who have been charged, how about some mug shots and descriptions? “3 men” just doesn’t do it. Or is muslim the new black?

Why no trial yet? over a year in jail, have a right to a speedy trial and they’ve been sitting in an unsecured facility all this time? Something’s wrong with that picture.

They escaped from the OC County jail in southern CA and their photos and descriptions have been widely dispersed through the internet and local TV and papers.
