Beck officially endorsed presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Saturday while at a rally at Faith Bible College in Iowa.
"We need a new George Washington," Beck said at the rally. "Today's Washington will not be found in the garish light of gold, but rather, in the bold service of a man who stands tirelessly for what he deeply believes — that government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people."
"I have prayed for the next George Washington," Beck said of Cruz. "I believe I have found him."

I did not know these candidates can schmooze around with their PAC guys in full view.

Love the you tube video showing how he fakes the tears and laughs about the charade. Beck is real a mental case. Cruz should run from him.
I agree. Also, I do not see Beck a good choice to attract Iowa farmers. He is not normal. The few times I have listened to him, he made no sense.
On Twitter, Beck announced that Cruz is to become the “first Hispanic president.”
I like Ted Cruz but he is not George Washington.

That’s an understatement.
I like Ted Cruz, but getting tied to Glenn Beck would seem to be an error of gargantuan proportions, unless it is for Iowa only and Cruz distances himself from Beck beyond that.
But if Cruz gets on the ticket in some manner, the photos with Beck will be in ads. And Beck turns off a lot of people, not just conservatives.

Just before Beck officially made his endorsement, he brought Cruz onstage and handed him his George Washington compass, a symbol of radio host's pursuit of truth.
Stick a fork in Beck. He’s done.
The words cringe worthy come to mind. Cruz is definitely my second choice but I hate seeing him lowering himself to campaigning with Beck. Its just sad. Well or funny. :-)
