GOP frontrunner Donald Trump argues that Fox Newsâs Megyn Kelly shouldnât moderate the upcoming debate on January 28 in Iowa, three days before the Iowa caucus.
âBased on @MegynKellyâs conflict of interest and bias she should not be allowed to be a moderator of the next debate,â Trump posted to Twitter on Saturday.
Kelly was criticized for being unfair to Trump following the first GOP primary debate. And two days ago, Kelly was charged with unleashing âon Donald Trump and Sarah Palin,â who recently endorsed the GOP frontrunner.
âBreaking tonight, a moment with the potential to change the Republican race for the White House â or not,â Kelly sarcastically announced, referencing Palinâs endorsement of Trump.
Kelly also featured the âNational Review Against Trumpâ story, having several of the anti-Trump commentators on her show, which resulted in the National Review being dumped from co-hosting an upcoming GOP primary debate.

I know. I saw several Cruz supporters zotted today because they refused to say they’d vote for Trump if he was the nominee. I’m actually thinking about leaving myself. Don’t want to get zotted and give the hyennas something to jump on.
We are trading a tyrant for an autocrat it seems.
Only TRUMP should suffer overt bias of his nemesis, while fighting for the nomination?
How about when it is your ox being gored?
You guys are the biggest whiners in the world on FR, about your ox, but happy to look over there when the fix is in against the other guy’s ox.
Bet no softball questions would be thrown.
Trump’s a whiner. What a shock!!!!
You misspelled feewings.
MK is dead to me. I saw her interview with Rubio this past week. It was pathetic, any stooge could see the fluff and slobbering all over him compared to what she does to other candidates (Trump/ Cruz)
Seriously, I would not doubt that you are right— it’s just that when there is an opening, TRUMP walks right through it and he does have clear standing to object given Kelly’s fatwa against him, which results in drawing attention to what a political assassin looks like during this debate, on a supposed UN-biased panel format.
TRUMP turns the heat up on Me Again Kelly’s own performance in the coming FOX debate. All eyes will be on her.
He does know what he is doing.
Me Gyn was asking about Rosie and Trump going after her.
Rosie attacked Trump first.
But really, with our country an F’ing mess, Me Gyn Gotcha asks about something we are not interested in?
Hey, anyone know how to email Rinse Prius, RNC head, he could just tell Fox once and for all to cut the crap or else.
But what I will not do is allow these idiots to tell me that he's a "real" conservative, or to tell me that his "blue collar" conservatism is what real conservatism is about.
Horse manure.
I held my nose and voted for Nixon [no conservative, at all.] I held my nose and voted for Ford. I held my nose and voted for Bush One. I held my nose and voted for McCain. I held my nose and voted for Dole fer cryin' out loud! So I can certainly hold my nose and vote for Trump. But he's to the left of Romney, and anyone who doesn't realize that is being used.
Rush and Levin....O.K., but I fear Hannity would talk over everyone as they were trying to answer.
She will not back down any more than he will. He’s not the least bit intimidating.
No, TRUMP is setting her own performance up, in the debate.
It’s a dog whistle for tuning in, and for watching her try to execute him and change history.
You think she’s up to it? Not hardly.
No, Donald sees opportunity and seizes on it with his teeth. Given her fatwa on him this week, he is on solid ground to issue an objection, and he uses it, but he wants the eyes on Me Again Kelly, watching her performance— a fair and balanced, impartial and unbiased performance.
He is a genius.

Wait a minute, please think about this for a second.
Whatever side you fall on in the political race, it’s Very Very Bad for any politician or President to single out any one reporter or groups of reporters for exclusion. That’s as bad as Obama shutting out the Fox News people because of his obsession with them.
If you are President or running for the Presidency, you should be able to deal with ANY reporter, in an adult manner, whichever side of the aisle you are on. Yes, even if the reporter is a less-than-stellar journalist, and may have biases.
To demand the removal of a reporter because you don’t think they are ‘nice’ to you is ridiculous. Goes completely against Freedom of the Press. It’s not Freedom of the Press for Reporters Who We Like and Write Complementary Copy.
There’s a reason the Founders included Freedom of the Press in the Constitution!
Exactly Duke! You are thinking strategically vs tactically. Which is the level trump operates on as well.
I’ve been flabbergasted that the press and many commentators don’t get this. They’ve made comments right from the start like “he doesn’t have to respond every time someone attacks him, why can’t he just let it go”. The Answer is he must respond for strategic reasons!
Once people truly get this, they then begin to realize things like... Trump has already won negotiations with Iran, Russia, China, and Mexico. That battle started the day he announced and he hasn’t faltered.

Oh please, what Trump is doing is playing Chess. LOL
Kelly knows it.
Kelly can report anything that she pleases. This has nothing to do with the Constitution.
The Constitution doesn’t guarantee anyone the right to moderate a debate.
