I really detest that way folks will take a quote and put their own spin on it, implyng that the spin is literal truth, when it is really the commentators attempt to use the quote inaccurately.

The same is common with headlines used to attract clicks. I often find the headline blatantly misrepresents the story.

Trump was being reasonable. He is at his heart a deal maker. He needs democrats to forge majorities, to get deals done.

The real issue is specifically which deals Trump would seek to make. Right now I trust that he would focus on the border, fair trade, the military, the budget and healthcare.

Well said and has the ring of truth. We have elected many so called conservatives to Congress in 2010 and 2014, and what have they done but join the left wing wackos in spending and hogtying our Constitution. DC dems and rinos need to be deported and go to Europe and live in the caliphate they love over there.
