Two big rallys today in Iowa that I thought we'd keep on one thread.
These two places are similar. They are both very small and of Dutch Heritage. Dutch is spoken here. The religion is mainly Protestant.
Hmmm. Now which candidate brags about being Protestant?
In short, Trump is in friendly territory.
The first is in Sioux Center, IA @ 11:00 am (CST)@ Dordt College - BJ Haan Auditorium
The second will be Pella, IA @ 2:30 pm (CST) @ Central College - Douwstra Auditorium
If Donald Trump is elected our next president, this day in these two little Iowan towns will be remembered for a long long time.
Cruz will tell his story, dad came from Cuba with 100 $ in underwear. He always says my dad moved his family to Canada, implying Ted was already born.

That was the story that I heard. I did not know that Ted Cruz was born in Canada until after I sent him a campaign contribution. Thought he was from Texas, cowboy boots and all.
See everyone on the Waterloo for Cruz thread later. Remember be nice or do not post. Please.
He is closing the deal with Iowans.
I love the personal appeal to them to go out and caucus and to make it happen.
Name change was when there were bad sentiment toward Germans. He actually told people they were Swedish.
I have listened to all of Ted’s major speeches and never knew he was born in Canada until he renounced citizenship. I went back and listened thinking he must have said it. No. He never did. I would not have cared but I think it was very misleading.
Trump is salesman extra-ordinaire! You can have the best product, but if you can not sell it, it is worthless.
Trump spent more time on the birther issue this speech, too. The press is going to have a hard time spinning a yarn that this is a close race, unless they spike or fudge the polls.
You’re featured on live thread Jesse!
Good points.
Reminds of George Patton saying America loves a winner and will not tolerate a loser.
Trump projects being a winner.
Nothing wrong with trying to change this sorry ship of state of ours into a cup winning sloop.
Almost 96% of people do not choose Bush. Where will they end up?
Clever
Yikes, and here we haven’t gotten a flake today. We had a dusting of about an inch a day or so ago - it’s making my husband sad that we have so little snow so far this year. What region are you in?
I certainly understand people being uneasy with him. He makes some mistakes that drive his opposition batty (Cruz could run for Prime Minister of Canada! - not true anymore, but so what, nobody thinks Cruz is really going to do that, and it really cements the doubt over eligibility). He (Trump) makes plenty of missteps, but they aren't all that damaging because the overall package (upset the old order, make America great again) is so appealing. He mocked Congress, "balanced budget in 25 years" WHAT, 25 Years?!
Trump appears capable of kicking ass and taking names in dealing with Congress, and getting the attention of the American public. Cruz?
No doubt, both would/will wear thin after awhile. That is inevitable. I just don't see this GOP primary race as much of a contest any more.
I just posted Trump rallies are Better & Better... on Cruz waterloo thread
It was an honest mistake, but the worst part was I said why you guys trolling on a Trump thread??
Im so embarrassed, cant post anymore tonight =^__^=

Please invite us, too, if he accepts!!
What time is that game? Have they said, yet?
It was an honest mistake.
It was probably the only funny thing to happen to them all day.
Made me laugh, anyway!
Up to 15 months ago, he could have run for Prime Minister of Canada.
