Take a Break and Watch

There has been a lot of "advocacy" type of postings here. Take a pause and listen to a speech from one of the greatest figures to grace the White House in the 20th century.

I would politely ask that the infighting stop, and start discussing issues and the best way to carry it forward. Put a brake on emotional investment and think hard about what the different candidates are saying and their policies.

And for the paid shills that are obviously here: may you be exposed and your heads put on a pike.

I sure do miss Reagan.

He was a class act and he loved this nation and its people.

Reagan, Thatcher and John Paul. The world is a better place because they lived in it!

Those who showed up at his funeral spoke volumes about who he was and what he accomplished.
I admit to getting pissed at the crap that has been flying about this place (FR) lately. I know its an election season, but some of the things posted lately are ridiculous and petty.
At the time Reagan was inaugurated, the US was facing some real problems, and rather than giving lip service, he took action and led the nation. Yeah, I miss him too.

Okay, told the best dirty jokes to reporters, approved no fault divorce, among the first to sign abortion legalization. A man’s actions speak for him, no need for us to comment. There have been worse, I’d vote yes, if reluctantly.

Won the Cold War and used Reganomics to turn America around and create 16 million jobs.

A man’s actions speak for him, no need for us to comment.

I remember watching this. I also remember the first Reagan for prez ad I saw, and wondering if I could vote for him. Of course I did.
