I am not making this up or exaggerating what Donald Trump said. These are his words and you can see the video for yourself. Via the Blaze, Trump literally says that when he gets to Washington he's going to become an establishment politician so that he can get some really great, super huge, classy deals done.
Here he is speaking in Las Vegas last night.

Why is Cruz running for POTUS? To be a potted plant in the White House? POTUS = head of the “establishment”. Really, Team Cruz this is the lamest of all Trump bashing.

That’s why I’ve given up in trying to convince them. Despite the many, many red flags when it comes to Trump, if they don’t get it by now, they probably never will until it’s too late and even that’s doubtful
I think he won’t hesitate to take his case to the American public (who will have voted him in) to light up the switchboards in DC to get things done.

In the video I watched earlier - the first time of countless postings in here - he said that he would have to act with the establishment, not become one of them.

It’s true. Trump could become the greatest president in history. On the other hand, he could become an unmitigated disaster. No sane person could possibly predict it.
The question is - is it worth the risk? Especially, when we have much, much better bets - both in terms of winning and producing the desired results.

This quote is well-timed and extremely calculated by him, on the same day that “conservative leaders” go all-in on bashing him, he publicly makes comments that attempt to show an ability to be bipartisan when necessary.
Trump is a genius, he knows exactly what he’s doing. These kind of comments are going to rally his base even more, and make on-the-fence libs/independents raise their eyebrows and give him a second look.
This is why he is going to “cruz” to victory in a general election.
