The point is that they don't worship the same prophet.
How many people did Jesus kill?
How many populations did Jesus invade with murderous brutality?
How many slaves did Jesus have?
How many people did Jesus torture?
How many women did Jesus rape and sell into slavery?
How many children did Jesus rape and sell into slavery?
The so-called prophet Mohammed is like Charlie Manson with less humanity.
We don’t worship the Muslim prophet, but I do believe the point is that we don’t have the same God, either.
Muslims might be “people of the book,” (meaning their book, the Koran), but Christians and Jews aren’t.
Jesus and His followers claimed He was divine, abd the Bible claims to be divine. Then the Koran claims to be divine. One is truth, and one is error, and when it’s a matter of divine agency and authorship, we can’t simply say that the one that’s wrong is the product of human error. The fact that the Koran teaches false things while claiming to be God’s Word makes it a work of antichrist. If it’s not inspired of the Holy Spirit, while claiming to be of God, then it’s of Satan, as any false teaching is.
And as usual, secular humanists also aren’t coming to this professor’s defense because they believe in Islam. They simply want Christianity undercut by humanistic views of religion. In that view, Jews, Christians, and Muslims all worship the same make-believe “god” whom Abraham believed in (if Abraham even existed, that is).
