Thank you for the links and the correction.

It was one of the reasons that the Superintendent is in hot water. The rape occurred before Christmas, and it took until Jan 6 or 7 for him to cancel the rest of the season.

I find it inconceivable that they continued to play in the tournament in Gatlinburg after this happened. And then in another in Chattanooga days afterward.

And while I hold the adults who were supposedly in charge accountable (along with the criminals themselves), I cannot imagine the rest of the team not stepping in to stop this. I know they're teens, but still...
