The three alleged assailants were arrested and charged with aggravated rape.

But coaches never reported the Dec. 21 incident to local authorities or child services, according to investigators.

These two sentances seem to be in conflict. How did the assailants get arrested if it was not reported to the authorities? The victim was taken to the hospital for medical care. Was 911 called for an ambulance?

The only way I can see the situation where the coach didnt report anything would be for him to drive the victim to the hospital, do a no name drop off. Is this what happened?

The article seems to raise more questions than answers.

I believe the implication is that the coaches did report the assault to the school district.

Playoffs, ya’know...

The hospital reported the assault to LE where the assault happened, but none of the coaches did, either at the scene or back home (assault happened at an “Away” game), and none of the coaches reported it to Child Services either.
