Who is talking about everyone liking him? It’s called working with people and not being a jerk. Trump has done deals all his life. He would get things done.
Cruz has never had any executive experience whatsoever. He’s been a lawyer and a politician. He’s been in the Senate for 3 years and has been showboating and running for President since Day 1......just like another one term senator that became President.
Part of the problem is you get all your information about Trump from Trump. Maybe you should research a little more in-depth. I didn't just listen to Obama speeches back in 2008.
But I am very clear that Trump is the worst "GOP" "Candidate." Including all the ones who dropped out. No way would I trust a big government liberal, who changes his positions all the time, and has a much more checkered business past than the media will tell you. And if anyone actually read his deposition from a 2000s lawsuit that he lost, they will realize the man has serious issues. Not to mention the fact that he's a wimp, riddled with insecurities.
A one-term CONSERVATIVE Senator is a lot better than a one-term radical left-wing Muslim-loving America-hating Senator.
And Obama has been extremely successful at getting his agenda pushed through regardless of his prior one-term status. No reason to doubt Cruz would be any less successful for conservatives. The key is having values and not having to look at a poll to determine which values you need to say you have or say you’re dropping on any given day.
“Trump has done deals all his life. He would get things done.”
You mean Trump would “reach across the aisle” like the RINOs are doing now? What if “doing deals” is the wrong thing to do? Was it McConnell who was bragging about all the legislation they’d passed recently? How much of that was actually good for America and how much of it was good for the Dems?
Cruz has always been my first choice, and up until recently I was pretty cool with Trump; but lately he’s started to say things that are...unsettling.
I admire Trump for his self-confidence, but I’m afraid he might be starting to believe his own PR.
Are you really this much of a jerk in real life?
The last thing we need is to have a President (or any politician for that matter) who will “get things done.” What we need is leadership that will get things un-done.
Ted was elected by we the people to stop jerks.
