You know, not to rehash old history, but Levin’s past behavior on FR did not show him in the best light. A lot of ppl probably don’t know about that — I literally avoided ever listening, reading, or caring what he said after his brutal & thin-skinned attacks on certain ppl.
He really does seem nuts. And if he’s divorced now, his wife is probably better off.

Oh I remember the old days, here, VERY well!
I used to post with and to him. He loved me to pieces, but one night I disagreed with one of his posts ( he was wrong, I was right ) and all of a sudden, he claimed that he didn’t know me/who I was and attempted to trash me. I fought back, he couldn’t take it, and I haven’t listened to him, nor bought his books since. Mark is just as you described him and you were being kind!
