Our data is primarily drawn from online surveys using sampling methods developed in consultation with several outside experts. These involve recruiting respondents from the entire population of US-based Internet users in addition to hundreds of thousands of individuals pre-screened by Ipsos. The responses are then weighted based on demographic information.

Absolutely. I am not sure if I wish there wasn't a debate or have the debate.

I see Cruz on the TV right now talking about the Washington Cartel. He is calling Governor Branstant establishment now. I can't wait till he drops out. All he does is complain. He is boring too. I don't know if I could handle that voice for 4 years. He doesn't even sound Texan at all........I guess it is the Canadian influence.

Independents

Trump + 18 36%

Cruz - 5 6%

Carson + 1 8%

If indeed Cruz is not winning the Independents, we need not bother nominating him. A Republican is simply not going to win the general election with Republican votes alone. Need to carry the Independents or we will end up with another Democrat president.

With regard to Trump, I would not be surprised if he is also going to win over a lot of Democrats. As in, Reagan Democrats. We can be pretty certain that no Democrat is going to vote for Cruz.

I think so too. However, we still have one more debate on January 28th. That debate is going to be out of control. I can’t even imagine what that is going to be like. It might be something we have never seen before. Trump is going to have bullets going towards him at every direction even worse then before. God Bless Donald Trump and Sarah Palin.

Trump will get some flak but I think mostly everybody will be aiming their darts at Cruz and trying to get to second place because Trump is too far ahead to catch. Rubio will tell some tales from the Senate, etc. Will be a food fight, IMO.

Maybe Cruz is really only down 21 points, not 24?

A Republican is simply not going to win the general election with Republican votes alone.

A point lost on many souls. Then there are the smaller factions within, who think they will prevail nationally, on their own strength and numbers.

I am curious as to how they gather their pool of people to poll.

Cruz’s support is very narrow... I fail to see a feasible path to 50.1% of delegates for him with Trump even maintaining 35 or so percent and the GOPe hating his guts. And almost all states are proportional representation anymore... Ted’s going to need goodwill from all quarters. Good luck with that.

He doesn't even sound Texan at all

Well his mom was east coast US and his dad was from Cuba.

And they lived in Alberta Canada the first 4 years of his life.

Typically the first 3 years is the time when a child's speech is primarily developed.

So unlikely he'd have much Texas influence on developing his speech pattern.

I couldn’t. I can’t listen to him now.

Trump is a funny guy. It’s his manner of speaking.
Praying always for him & his family.
