Clinton Emails So Secret Some Lawmakers Can't Read Them
Fox News ^ | Thursday, January 21, 2016 | Catherine Herridge

Posted on 01/21/2016 10:06:01 AM PST by kristinn

Some of Hillary Clinton's emails on her private server contained information so secret that senior lawmakers who oversee the State Department cannot read them without fulfilling additional security requirements, Fox News has learned.

The emails in question, as Fox News first reported earlier this week, contained intelligence classified at a level beyond "top secret." Because of this designation, not all the lawmakers on key committees reviewing the case have high enough clearances.

A source with knowledge of the intelligence review told Fox News that senior members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, despite having high-level clearances, are among those not authorized to read the intelligence from so-called "special access programs" without taking additional security steps -- like signing new non-disclosure agreements.

These programs are highly restricted to protect intelligence community sources and methods.

Fox News is told that the reviewers who handled the SAP intelligence identified in Clinton's emails had to sign additional non-disclosure agreements even though they already have the highest level of clearance -- known as TS/SCI or Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented information. This detail was first reported by NBC News.

They are little people. Laws only apply to little people.

MOST lawmakers can’t read them.

Only Intel Select committees.

I have no reason to believe anybody in appointed positions follows requirements... And who is going to rat out a Congressional club member.

If requirements were important Hillry would not have a private server.

I spell Hillry’s name that way, because that is how bjclinton says it, not because I do not know the correct spelling.

Oh, they can read them, all right. But then we’d have to kill them!

Lawmakers can’t read them but you can bet that the Russians and the Chicoms have.

Every presidential appointee should have to pass a top secret clearance investigation before even being considered by the senate.

Absolutely; a threshold requirement.

Would go further and say that every candidate for the office of our nation's commander-in-chief should have to do likewise.

“Would go further and say that every candidate for the office of our nation’s commander-in-chief should have to do likewise.”

Said to say, Barack Hussein Obama was subjected to NO background check. Just as well, since he would not have passed it anyway. But since he was ELECTED POTUS, he is EXEMPT.

***Yep...and STILL no media mention of her “Q clearance” violations (Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Clearance). That has the harshest penalty with the least amount of effort. Life in prison up to Death under the Atomic Energy Act and its amendments.***

That’s because the media have been “read into it.” You don’t charge the next President!

Seriously, people need to wake up.

She could quite literally be the most corrupt person who has ever held a top position in US government. Absolutely amazing.

I’m a nurse who has always had to pass a background check to work anywhere. I recognize my background check is not at that level, but also drug tests, not urine but hair follicle, and at one hospital I had to do a pop ethl breathalyzer test. That would rule out 99.8% of Congress and the Senate, hell most of the Administration right there!

Wonder if Hillary ever had to submit to a background check or security clearance? Of was it just greenlighted because of who she is? Wonder if any of the folks at the Clinton Foundation have any clearance.

I have no idea why the DOS would have DOE clearance. I suspect the CNWDI violation had to do with what we used to call either Classified Foreign Nuclear Information (FNI) or National Security Information (NSI).....

I SERIOUSLY doubt that Clinton had access to Restricted Data/Formerly Restricted Data. Even joking about RD/FRD will get you thrown into the core of the planet. Unofficially known as DETABI classification (don't even think about it) jokingly.

I think someone in the .gov needs to get their head out of their 3 points of contact if they gave Clinton or anyone in the DOS RD/FRD information.

But they found the hard drive behind the copy machine at Los Alamos. Besides "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

That barn door has been swinging in the breeze since the Chinese were wrecking rockets.

Actually, media HAS mentioned it, but it’s not nearly as compelling to the masses as Trump’s hair or Cruz’s loans or Bernie’s poll numbers or whether Will Smith attends the Oscars.

From last August:

We are living in an America that doesn’t think or care.

Any Congressmen who want to read Hillary’s emails should just ask the Russians, the Chinese, the Cubans, the Iranians, the Saudis, (not the Israelis because they can keep a secret), ISIS, Hezbollah, or the North Koreans (and probably their good buddy, Dennis Rodman).
