On January 19, Donald Trump, the loudest Republican claimant to the anti-establishment label, filled out his recent attacks on Ted Cruz in a very telling way, as revealed on Mark Levin's radio program ...
We've been contacted by the establishment types. They all want to know, how do they get involved with the campaign? They're giving up on their candidate...and I mean these are real establishment people, that I've known when I was a member of the establishment -- meaning a giver, a big donor. But they are contacting us -- Corey [Trump's campaign manager], I think we can say that very honestly, they're contacting us left and right about joining the campaign, and these are serious establishment types.
Who might these "real," "serious" establishment types be? Perhaps there is a hint in this subsequent comment, a follow-up to his recent pro-establishment assault against Ted Cruz:
So when you talk about temperament, Ted has got a rough temperament, I don't know. You know, you can't call people liars on the Senate floor, when they're your leader.
This, of course, is a direct reference to Cruz's criticism of Mitch McConnell regarding the GOP establishment leader's secret deal with Barack Obama prior to a trade vote.

The Ted Cruz campaign FILLS my e-mail box with all sorts of “crying-poor” messages. But we all know that he’s backed by Goldman Sachs and the other banksters.
Besides that, I will NEVER vote for a warmongering candidate who hates the Orthodox Christian world, and wants to arm its enemies! Just like Hillary and obama! PHOOEY!!!!
Is Trump a McConnell-Rove Establishment Tool?
the answer is yes.
I can give you 3 reason why, that happened just this week.
1) He supports the Ethanol subsidies, thereby supporting big government.
2) Cruz called out McConnell for lying, which McConnell did.
Trump sided with McConnell, saying he had to make deals with Congress, just like the Establishment wants him to do.
3) He said “Cruz would be worse than Hillaryâ€, proving that he thinks higher of Bengazi-email-scandal-ridden-big-government Hillary Clinton than he does Ted Cruz.
Trump is becoming a louder version of Lindsay Graham-John McCain right before our very eyes.
It only took a week.
Lol, Cruz is the GOPe tool Rove and others hope will win enough delegates to deny Trump a majority and create a brokered convention.
Cruz is their hope to continue the GOP status quo.

I don't think anyone on this forum hates Ted Cruz, but many here just don't think he is up to the task, that is all.

What is my fanaticism about, loving my country? Nothing has happened on immigration. Amnesty is getting closer and closer.
Yes, Trump has organized his campaign as a populist, but when he endorsed ethanol, he was picking and choosing among special interest groups like the worst of the crony capitalists that Trump rails against.
To be honest, Trump has told s who he was from the beginning, he’s the deal maker. He even told us that when he negotiates, his goal is to win. He didn’t say that his goal was to make the best deal for America. He makes the best deal for himself.
And we wouldn't even be having ANY of these conversations about illegal immigration and the myriad of other Obammunist issues destroying our country if it wasn't for Trump. Instead, we'd simply be debating which RINO, GOPe squish would be least likely to be stomped by Hillary, and the GOPe would once again be exhorting the "base" about how critical it is for us to once again vote for the "lesser of tovilsâ€, that is, vote for the GOPe side of the Uniparty coin.
My money has, and my vote will go to Ted Cruz, the ONLY Constitutional conservative in this race. Nevertheless, I cannot argue with your words.
I have spent my life in the Petrochemical/ oil $ gas/ Pipeline construction and associated fields. The hard-assed men and women out there have no idea what a constitutional conservative is and quite frankly don't give a damn! 1. Cheap labor is the mother's milk and summum bonum of the Business Roundtable/Chamber crowd. Everything they've done for the last 15 years and more, has been predicated on cheap labor and the incessant search for same. Offshoring tax breaks, H-1B/H-2/L-1 visas exploding? Same thing.
2. Doesn't it bother you that this same crowd is now climbing aboard the Trump Express? Now what do you suppose caused that, after we were told for weeks that the Chamber/GOP-E crowd were "terrified" of Trump? While they only "hated" Ted Cruz? (Gosh, which is better, and where can I get some?)
Could it be that The Donald spake a quiet word into a couple of the right ears to speak such words into?
Could it be that Trump's support just got presold -- arbitraged, if you will -- to lock in a price?
