CORE VALUES: Gov. Scott Walker punctuated Tuesday's State of the State address with the message that he tried to bring to his presidential campaign: independence from government dependency.

I really like this guy!

Just because he was ill-suited to run for the presidency that does not mean he is a loser.

He has been doing great work in Wisconsin and I watched with glee as he stomped the unions up there :-)

This was a wonderful, positive, unlifting speech stressing high achievements in education statewide, great health insurance savings on the state level going to education, reduced taxes across the board, reduced unemployment, and fewer people dependent upon government — all very laudable achievments.

The Democrats in the body just sat on their hands and looked glum. I guess they don’t like to see people gainfully employed and kids doing well in school with more money going to support education. What sourpusses they were.

And the talking heads from PBS looked like they were going to have kittens, they were so upset at his speech. They commented that it sounded like he was planning to run for a 3rd term. LOL

I haven’t heard a peep from Scott Walker since he up and left the campaign. I’m sure he’s busy.

Thanks for posting... Walker may not have been my prez pick.. But he was definitely in the running. Love his commitment to core values. His handling of the tsunami of trash that parked themselves in the building to protest. Hard work with great results... Love it!

The early caucus process in Iowa, New Hampshire, etc., is a killer. A good Presidential candidate needs to have governor’s experience. Walker or Jindal were the best hope for actually fixing some problems. Cruz is OK, but he is weak on administration. Trump is Trump - I would have to hold my nose to vote for him because I think he is winging the whole thing; I don’t think he has a platform other than “I’m not one of THEM!”
