Currently, Ted Cruz is trying to pose as an aw-shucks country lawyer, despite his elite connections. But the problem is that those connections are out there for all to see. And one of the most troubling is his wife Heidi, a Goldman Sachs investment manager who served on the task force which wrote the report on âBuilding a North American Community,â a direct attack on American independence.
It includes a recommendation to build a European Union style abolition of borders between Mexico and the United States.
Lay the groundwork for the freer flow of people within North America. The three governments should commit themselves to the long-term goal of dramatically diminishing the need for the current intensity of the governmentsâ physical control of cross-border traffic, travel, and trade within North America. A long-term goal for a North American border action plan should be joint screening of travelers from third countries at their first point of entry into North America and the elimination of most controls over the temporary movement of these travelers within North America. Margaret Thatcher in England, I believe her husband kept a very low profile. So that goes for both sexes.
This is not aimed at any candidate because it is spread around. But a CFR connection disqualifies a candidate in my opinion.
They are too busy trying to stop Patriot Trump on behalf of the establishment ...
It’s a lot more serious than Ted taking legitimate loans from his banker.
1. From 2005
2. Heidi, not Ted, Cruz
3. She was one of 31 members of the commission
4. She is not identified as a principal author
5. Her additional/dissenting view only emphasizes the need to let the private market dictate investment initiatives, not the governments
6. There is nothing near an EU type of confederation of the three countries in the report
7. At a glance, the substance of the report is amorphous feel-good talk about cooperation without impairing the sovereignty of any country.
Conclusion: Another nothingburger hit piece on Ted Cruz
A big one at that ..
Husbands and Wives usually share common ideals and goals; there has been no evidence to the contrary with the Cruzs.
Here is the plan Heidi Cruz helped prepare and which she endorses. It is a form of “governance” inconsistent with our form of government.

turns up comments but not a thread.
YMMV
You should know by now you won’t change minds.
Especially since you are gaga for all Trump who has faults that make Cruz exceedingly good.
At least Cruzers are in it for conservative principles not the trump cult of personality.
The answer to all articles about Trump’s past? Doesn’t matter. That was then (even if yesterday). Trump flip flops? Doesn’t matter.
And you think you drag up any conjecture and it matters? Works both ways. Good luck.
Just one of Ted's many lies
"We must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us â truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants."
Very interesting.
Oh ok ... nothing to see here , right ?
Truth is ugly ... this is very disturbing news about Cruz
Yikes, looking at some of the task force members, and their bios.. President of La Raza, Mx’s Ambassador to Cuba,
Rogue’s Gallery of Elites, IMHO. Not my kind of folks.
> A little digging reveals Heidi’s contribution
That is a portion of her “additional view”. Here is her entire “additional view”
I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among usâtruly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants. - Heidi S. Cruz
Reading is fundamental. Thinking is equally important.
Trumpbots pretend that a wife’s marginal participation in an obscure economic policy paper means Ted’s a closet Bilderberger. She worked for GS. It was her function to rub elbows with big shots in finance and government. You might have heard about it. Its called “networking”.
The very first sentence of her "dissent" expresses her support for the report and its recommendations. Your BS about her "dissenting view" "only" emphasizing the need to let the private market blah blah blah ignores her support for open borders. What Heidi wants is for Goldman Sachs to get its cut of the pie once the US gets to work fixing Mexico's crappy economy.
She is also listed as endorsing the report.
