Ted might lose Iowa over his principles on ethanol. Is it worth it?

What do you think of a person who puts his principles aside in order to gain something? Will you be able to trust such a person when the next principle is challenged?
Do you understand the concept of principles? If you give up your principles to "win", then they are not principles in the first place.
