I didn't that. I did know that blacks were, for the most part, sold into slavery by their fellow blacks.

Many blacks captured in warfare or raids were made slaves by their black captors. They then sold them to white slavers. Whites rarely if ever ventured into the interior of Africa. It was much easier just to pay black tribal chieftains/kings to get slaves. Evil on both sides.
