According to press releases issued by the Trump campaign, Palin was supposed to spend today (and the next several days) criss-crossing Iowa with Donald Trump, stumping for him. However, at the rally Trump held this morning, Palin was absent with no explanation from the Trump camp. Instead, Trump just took the stage for a little longer than planned.
The media inquired about Palin's absence and were basically given "no comment" in response.

Amen to your timely prayers, trish!
My son works with the homeless mentally ill. Lots of substance abuse and violent behavior. Very high percentage are veterans. Diagnosis is consistently Ptsd
When Trumps says we need to treat our veterans better he knows what he is talking about.
Please refer to post 87. Thank you.
No, it was not Palin of old as far as sentence structure, delivery and cadence. When she either has time to practice or they let her compose her own improvement will come.
Being friends with someone is the lamest excuse in the world to endorse them for such an important elected position.
The crowd was noticeably quiet during her performance yesterday. There was very little applause.
Out of 12 or so candidates! That is amazing.
I think that speaks more to the lameness of the other candidates than it does about Trump.
I remember her accent from before, it was not one I hear a lot, but I don't remember the near hysteria that I heard this time. She was very upset about something. No wonder she hasn't shown up today.
Or “Moon Unit” or Dwezel”.
Thank you for your contribution. In hindsight, perhaps I should have posted to post # 77, as that was how many posts appeared/existed as I replied to post # 1. My point is still valid. Lots of insults and innuendoes, yet nary a whiff of factual matter posted in regards to the thread’s theme.
“Iâm not attacking the son. I didnât know he had PTSD but not every vet with PTSD beats up his wife... not sure we should be defending that.”
I like people that weren’t beating up their wives
Its been mentiined in articles and by Trump himself. Both are high profile people so even sharing a pizza as they did when she was a candidate is big news.
Both have said at various time they speak often on the phone.
Apparently tweeting is not the only thing he does often Even his friends from military school and college when interview mention their continued relationship. Ben Carson and Alice Cooper (born again Christian sober 30 years and supporter of troubled youth ) both comment on his loyalty and reach out to keep in touch.
“PDS from her old supporters.
Pretty revealing really.”
Yep. No better than the liberal media and Leftist politicians who went after her back in 08.
In a way - worse.
Trading in the beautiful snow of Iowa for the red dirt of Oklahoma as planned, despite what the media is try's no to spin up! Thank you Iowa - get out and caucus on February 1st! 2 mins
bump to the top
I believe you're right about that.
Her and Todd would choose family first.
Sorry, but this fame-whoring family has sucked all the nice right out of me.
He was also on meth before he went into the military. I sincerely doubt all of his issues stem from his military career.
Maybe if his mother was supporting him more instead of running off chasing the spotlight, he might not be smacking his girlfriend around.
I agree.
It’s sad.
I don’t have a problem with people continuing the fight for Cruz. I think Cruz was a bad general and waited too long to attack while at the same time extolling Trump. Trump got out of reach while Cruz stored up cash.
GWBush used to make me crazy with his unwillingness to attack his opponents. It eventually led to Obama’s success.
Cruz took lots of my money and did not use it the way a good general should. He listened to advisors tell him to build organization, and there’s some wisdom in that. But they also told him to stay out of the fray.
In the meantime, that hands off strategy (He would say “no food fight”) is what permitted the victory of Trump. Not taking anything from Trump, because he’s played this field of battle nearly to perfection. But Cruz on the sidelines is NOT Cruz in the battle.
The current Cruz supporters were all over this site and others agreeing with Trump’s forays against immigration, shipping jobs overseas, muslim refugees, building the wall, etc. They woke up about a week ago and realized that Trump now had 2 to 3 times the numbers of everyone else. They even FOUGHT FOR Trump for months.
Why?
Because CRUZ was not fighting. He was building infrastructure.

I have had it with the people jumping on the “trash Palin” bandwagon. Guaranteed those smacking the loudest did not listen to her full speech. It was terrific. The audience was fired up. Lots of wild applause.
Sarah Palin is a patriot. Not perfect. Certainly not a perfect family. But Todd has to share the blame for that.
She will help Trump on the ground game. And he will win.
Cruz is pathetic at 13% nationally.
