Meet the Last (Liberal) Person that Sarah Palin Endorsed
Red State ^ | 1/20/16 | Leon Wolfe

Posted on 01/20/2016 7:13:15 AM PST by Phinneous

In the middle of her rambling, barely coherent speech endorsing Donald Trump last night, Palin addressed the (obviously true) contention that Trump is not a conservative. She didn’t really address the contention with any evidence at all, other than to basically say, “What does the establishment know about conservatism?”

Yeah, loved her in 2008... But she's been on a reality-tv downward spiral. Still a kingmaker? Trump's popularity probably overshadows her golden touch at this point anyway.

Sarah Palin running as McCain’s VP didn’t make McCain less of a liberal.

Sarah Palin Endorsing Trump for president doesn’t make Trump any less of a liberal.

She’s an asset for the primaries but likely not for November.

When all these pundits say “conservative” they seem to mean “conserve the status quo”, and their position as pickers of our rulers.

When Trump flames out they can both resurrect their reality TV show careers together.

If you compare this speech to the one she delivered against the Wisconsin goons, you immediately realize that she has lost her edge, and her rationality. I can’t believe it’s the same person.

I recall her endorsing McCain during a difficult primary a few years ago as well.

I really liked Palin in 2008. She was a fresh face who told the truth. Her enthusiasm seemed boundless. I watched a bit of her last night. Sorry, but her voice now seems grating......too much like Hillary!. I won’t vote for Trump in the Primary, but I will vote for Trump in the National election if he is the nominee. I sure don’t have the respect for Palin that I once had. Too many questionable peripheral issues with her and her extended family.

From your link:

The endorsement is also a snub to the incumbent Republican Gov. Sean Parnell, who served as Palin's lieutenant governor and took over as governor in 2009, after Palin stepped down. But the two have long been at odds over the state's oil tax laws.

Ahhh, Cruz was not the first time she plunged the knife on someone's back.

So, What's the "DEAL" she made with Trump?

I can’t believe it’s the same person.

I can't either. Her shrillness was deafening.

Several years ago I spent 10 days on vacation in Alaska. I mentioned on FR that the general opinion I heard there of the Palin family and Sarah in particular was “meh” at best and often negative.

Of course I got shredded for reporting that and was told I must have only hung out with Alaskan liberals, LOL.

I thought it was just me that found her voice shrill like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Why cant we have a woman sound like Thatcher rather than a air raid siren?

If only she endorsed Cruz, then we could all talk about how wonderful, and godly she is, and how much she has meant for the nation or that she would make an excellent VP for Cruz.

But today? She’s just a dried up old skank.

Agreed - not sure what has happened, but she is no longer the Sarah Palin from 2008.

(love the tagline, BTW. Hilarious!)

Palin was great yesterday.

She will make a great Secy of Energy. A good description of Palin because she is a high energy person and a high energy speaker.

Best looking Politician after all these years.
