You have just made the Obama argument. Which will not, btw, be good enough when the candidate is not named Obama.
“He holds the same beliefs as I do, the same principles as I do. Therefore, he qualifies.” I have it right, don’t I?
So let me ask you this:
Is it a sign of character and/or conservative to mislead your voters? When did that become the rule? Cruz didn’t mention his Canadian citizenship until more than a year after was elected to the Senate. Is that how we conservatives roll, these days?
