Your purpose clearly is to hijack a Cruz thread.
-— Instead, I was struck by the still-undecided voters I met who had rejected Trump, using words like “antics” and “volatile” to describe him -—
He who lives by the antics dies by the antics.
Meanwhile, I’m hoping that Carson drops out soon.
That was a tough hit Carson’s campaign took. Very, very sad.
You have no issue wih an unqualified person taking the office. How subversive of you. That you don't care if the consitution is followed or not does not prevent me from considering your criticism of Trump. That's all I was saying. Both issues are important, and they exist independently of one another.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That any Alien being a free white person, who shall have resided within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States for the term of two years, may be admitted to become a citizen thereof on application to any common law Court of record in any one of the States wherein he shall have resided for the term of one year at least, and making proof to the satisfaction of such Court that he is a person of good character, and taking the oath or affirmation prescribed by law to support the Constitution of the United States, which Oath or Affirmation such Court shall administer, and the Clerk of such Court shall record such Application, and the proceedings thereon; and thereupon such person shall be considered as a Citizen of the United States. And the children of such person so naturalized, dwelling within the United States, being under the age of twenty one years at the time of such naturalization, shall also be considered as citizens of the United States.
Sorry but you are wrong...The child has to be under 21 years of age when the father was naturalized in order to be a natural born citizen...Ted was too old...
Sound advice.
I’m sorry I didn’t know there were Cruz threads where it was unwelcome to discuss what was said in posts unless you were a believer.
Yes. He’s a man you can respect, even if he isn’t your first choice for the presidency.
You have just made the Obama argument. Which will not, btw, be good enough when the candidate is not named Obama.
“He holds the same beliefs as I do, the same principles as I do. Therefore, he qualifies.” I have it right, don’t I?
So let me ask you this:
Is it a sign of character and/or conservative to mislead your voters? When did that become the rule? Cruz didn’t mention his Canadian citizenship until more than a year after was elected to the Senate. Is that how we conservatives roll, these days?
Catch me if you can. I’ll split words & terms, play lawyerly language games and see if I can run out the clock.
We’ve already had this for north of 7 years!
Well, now you know you’ll get push-back.
I know it takes two to tango, but if you want qualifications debate to be absent from your threads, then quit arguing the point. It just makes it obvious that you are subversive of the constitution.
It looks like your “concern” about Cruz is all about elevating Trump.

Your post:
[Cruz] might have millions of friends, but Trump has more. And DJT supporters come from all places.
As I said, this is about winning and losing. Trump intends to win. Will he? I don’t know.
But here is what I know: Cruz will be nothing but a potted plant, because he is utterly friendless in gov’t. So you can forget about rolling back any Obama-isms.
Trump, on the other hand, will roll into office and start flipping over the furniture.
And I always wondered how it would look to see a coffee table fly across the room!”
You’ve stated your points, I’ve stated mine.
You want to hijack the thread.
“He has low EQ. Time for a makeover.”
Ted Cruz has a low IQ? He graduated cum laude from Princeton and magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.
“Heâ¦looks facially painedâ¦His voice is annoyingly tightâ¦His arm movements are stiff and robotic⦔
I understand that the mass media virtually requires candidates to be appealing on a superficial level, but please remember that you are not voting for American Idol. In today’s climate, Abraham Lincoln might not go far because he was not good looking.
No, I don’t want to hijack the thread. I just wanted to say my piece that you are subversive of the constitution, that you bring attention to this by defending Cruz’s qualifications, and that your arguments relating to Trump can be considered on their merits.
EQ! EQ! EQ!
Not IQ.....
Could of fooled me - what is it, about 10 posts you’ve written (on this one thread) about Cruz’s eligibility?
Oops.
At any rate, when you talk about Cruz's eligibility, don't be surprised to get a response on that subject. It's not my fault you take up defending Cruz qualifications.
