Funny Picture Of Ted Cruz From Campaign Spreading Around The Internet
Young Conservatives ^ | January 19, 2016 | Andrew Mark Miller

Ted Cruz is a really smart guy. This is one of the biggest reasons Ted is polling high in the GOP presidential race.

Cruz graduated valedictorian from high school, cum laude from Princeton University and magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. Then he served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William Rehnquist and Solicitor General of Texas.

Can you spot why this picture from one of his campaign stops is going viral?

...That might not be a bad campaign slogan.

Other potential signs, that may have uses beyond 2016... 4-8 years of uses:

Ted Cruz's Uncompromising Pitch to Win New Hampshire

...."Nowhere, in either his prepared stump speech to New Hampshire voters or his responses to their questions, do you hear a single concession to New England-style moderate Republicanism-to the extent that it still exists.

Insofar as winning the nomination goes, this is both necessary and strategic. You can't really get away with regional pandering anymore in this national media environment. Were Cruz, or any other candidate, to whisper one thing in the ears of New Hampshire voters and another to South Carolina voters, there would be an approximately 10-second gap between his delivery and a comprehensive media, activist, and operative assault on his chief selling point: airtight conservative trustworthiness.

Fortunately, not bothering to develop a tailored message for Northern moderates is something that the unique size and makeup of this primary field allows him to get away with. Nearly all New Hampshire polling in recent weeks has shown the same static picture: Trump is out front with roughly 30 percent of the vote, followed by a five-way tie for second between Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. John Kasich, Gov. Chris Christie, Cruz, and Jeb Bush. If you only listened to Cruz, you would not know that Kasich, Christie, and Bush are even running for president, so rarely does he ever mention their names. The only use he has for them in New Hampshire-and it’s an important one-is to split the moderate vote among themselves, thereby allowing Cruz to land a first- or second-place finish."....

...Cruz's pitch to New Hampshire conservatives is straightforward and, from what I'm seeing, effective. I spoke with several voters at Cruz's bus tour stops across the state on Sunday and Monday who came in undecided and left as Cruz supporters. William Davis of Laconia had been considering an array of candidates from Cruz to Bush ("I had a friend of mine in South Carolina who was mad at me for seeing him") to Carly Fiorina ("I'll go with the conspiracy theory: I literally think there's a media witch hunt to keep her out of the front-runners"). After hearing Cruz's presentation at the Tilt'n Diner in Tilton on Monday, Davies was persuaded. "He articulated his positions extremely well, he didn't shy away from any of the key issues, and you know what? He didn't shy away from his faith," Davies said. "And the reality is it's going to take that kind of substance to get things changed in this nation."............

The other side of his head shows a riser with the words “APPAREL, SIGNS, GAMES” - And it’s true!

Senator Ted Cruz dresses in the APPAREL necessary so that his “performance” will fit the target audience ...

He wears his Christian moniker on his sleeve so as to show the SIGN of his pastoral bonafides ...

And by these artifices he plays head GAMES with his followers.

See, I can be creative too! Isn’t this fun!

I noticed all 6 paying attention to him including the black fellow running the sound board with his eye looking down at his job. The two behind Cruz (where they can see him eye to eye) are respectfully listening.

Wow! This headline reminded me of that line from that movie, "so long boys; see you in the funny papers."

After today we might say, "long on brains, short on prospects." N'est–ce pas?

The guy on the left is a mannequin. Either that, or his shiny hands betray a serious skin condition.

I like and admire Ted Cruz. I really do. He'd make a fine President. But.....

When he starts filling stadiums every week at his events...... let me know.

I wish the country was in a state where a guy like Cruz and his message would resonate with the public. I really do.

There is a reason why Trump has dominated since last summer. He's a warrior. Ted isn't. At least not yet.

Jan 13, 2016: Duck Commander Phil Robertson endorses Ted Cruz "..Ted Cruz is my man, I'm voting for him," Robertson said.

Robertson, the star of "Duck Dynasty," took Cruz hunting on Monday and they sealed the deal in a duck blind.

"My qualifications for president of the United States are rather narrow: Is he or she Godly, does he or she love us, can he or she do the job, and finally would they kill a duck and put him in a pot and make him a good duck gumbo?" Robertson said. "Cruz fits the bill."

Cruz had dinner with the Robertson family Sunday night at their home in West Monroe, Louisiana.

"I am thrilled to have Phil's support for our campaign," Cruz said. "The Robertson's are a strong family of great Christian faith and conservative values."...

Jan 18, 2016: Southern Baptist Leader Endorses Ted Cruz for President

"Republican presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has received the endorsement of another key evangelical leader in his bid for the White House. Dr. Tommy Kelly, outgoing president of the South Carolina Southern Baptist Convention and the pastor of Varnville First Baptist Church, made the announcement Friday, then joined Cruz for a rally at North Greenville University that evening. More than 2,100 churches in the early voting state are part of the SCSBC, which has a membership of 750,000 statewide....

The Cruz camp says more than 400 pastors and religious leaders have endorsed his presidential campaign. But the endorsement of the leader of the first state Southern Baptist Convention is important."....

Gee, I wish I could find some way to bash this guy like you deranged Cruzbots do to everyone who endorses Trump. Just because this guy endorses him, doesn’t mean all Southern Baptists are going to vote for him. However, I do think Ted would make a fine pastor - and that might be his true calling - not to be the president, but to be a pastor.

Ted Cruz is an honorable man and the kind of man who would have fit in with our founding fathers. And he is the man I hope the people of this country will come out to support in the Iowa Caucuses and every other primary to come.

News out of Lefty Seattle:

Jan 18, 2016: Anti-feminist, anti-sex education, anti-gay Eagle Forum leaders endorse Ted Cruz

"Top leaders of the Eagle Forum, a group self-described as "the alternative to women's liberation," on Monday endorsed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for the Republican presidential nomination.

The endorsement gives Cruz a link with a long-ago GOP candidate from the Republican right to which he is often compared, 1964 Republican nominee Sen. Barry Goldwater.

The Eagle Forum, organized by conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly, fought ratification of the federal Equal Rights Amendment, has opposed sex education in schools, fought against marriage equality and stood in opposition to expanded immigration - an issue cited by 20 of its leaders as they endorsed Cruz.

"While establishment Republicans led the charge for amnesty and betrayed the trust of those who elected them, Ted Cruz fought to uphold the law and defend our borders," the group's endorsement statement read.

In turn, Cruz showered praise on the Eagle Forum's 91-year-old founder. "Phyllis Schlafly has given me so much good advice over the years, and I admire the courage of grassroots activists carrying on her great work," he said in a statement."...

Phyllis Schlafy, herself, chose Trump.

You support Trump? Perhaps you deserve bashing because you are supporting a megalomaniac and a dangerous man as he has the type of personality that strikes out at anyone that opposes him. He would use every government agency to trample anyone that speaks out against him. Think Obama is a tyrant. If Trump is elected you will see an even more evil tyrant. Trump has the personality type of Hitler, Mussolini and Mao. There is no telling what he will do. Trump says building a wall along the U.S. borders would be like building the Wall of China. Did you know that millions of workers were killed while building the wall of China? Trump would stop at nothing to destroy his enemies while possibly going into a maniacal rage against foreign powers or the man down the street or next door to us. Trump is dangerous.
