Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.
Thanks. Palin and I obviously see the same way on this.
I don’t think these people are paid off and I agree that is disgusting.
I do think they are mistaken and I THINK they and everyone else is falling for a Trojan Horse. Maybe not even a Clinton Trojan Horse. More of a global elite Trojan Horse for their own amusement. But that is me.
Bristol’s comments will have legs with the subset of Conservatives who are very supportive of Cruz and are aware of it.
These are people that the eventual nominee can’t afford to lose. They, like the core supporters of all the candidates, are the ones who will in all weather go door to door canvassing in the Fall, work phone banks, spend election day driving people to the polls.
They’ll remember this, to the point of ignoring their own candidates exhortions to get out and work for the nominee, should it be someone other than himself. They aren’t the kind of people who you can alienate and still expect to have good retail politics and a winning GOTV ground game.
Did the son shoot or injure somebody?
So, Rand Paul will be okay with Trump’s eminent domain position?
Trump is a Nationalist, not a globalist. That is what makes him dangerous to globalists.
The classic saying is that all real estate is local. Most of his family’s wealth in located on the US; you cannot pick it up and move it somewhere else. Nationalism works better for Trump than any other movement.
Ask the land owners of real estate in Lebanon what their property was worth during the civil war. Or how would you like to buy an apartment in Paris or Germany right now. I am glad not to be invested in those areas,
People do not understand folks like Trump.
He will do what is best for the US of A.
He works tirelessly and enjoys those fruits of labor.
I don’t trust him either. Wonder why Sarah did that? Too early. Maybe Trump is more like her.
Trump: There's no There, There
Why don’t somebody eminent domain my house and offer me 4 times market values? I have zero attachment to the bricks and wood in my house. Only the inside house contents is all I care for.

I was just thinking that Sarah Palin spoke loud and proud without apology when she ran with McCain. She was doing the Trump before Trump, but she was a woman... and we can’t have that, can we?
And though you are posting here, doesn’t mean that you know what you’re talking about; sadly
I wouldn’t say that.
Some of us would prefer to vote our principles first, win or lose.
Some of us believe, win or lose, it is actually principles and not people that will save the country if it is to be saved.
Now, feel free to tell me what is wrong with that.
I think everyone is getting a bit overloaded with the quickly evolving news and maybe a bit confused. They had no time to adjust to the idea of Palin’s appearance, and maybe Palin herself was a bit less prepared than usual. This seems to have been a last-minute decision for some reason.
We’re going to need two FreeRepublics AND one huge thread for the “I-told-you-sos.”
People here have a bad habit of equating Strict Constitutionalist with Strong Conservative, they are not necessarily the same thing.
Sarah is the only person in the GOP with a record of taking on the corruption in her own party and winning, and that is where the next battle will take place because we have not one true conservative in the GOP leadership.
But Cruzers can take heart because all the talking heads on FOX seem to think Palin could maybe help only a point or two. Mr. 999 said it would help very little.
You have been blinded by the Illusion.
I think you are right.
I am for Cruz all the way...but I recognize smart operating when I see it.
Trump is executing the art of the deal...and he got Palin to go along with him to try and address Tedâs rising numbers in Iowa, while at the same time blunting Tedâs strength with the base conservatives nationally.
Do not get me wrong...I am not jumping Tedâs ship. or throwing in the towel. I want him to win and will support him in the effort to do so.
I just see the strategy here and it is a good one from Trumpâs perspective. And having Palinâs support will shore up Trump in a place he has needed it.
In the end...if Cruz does not win the nomination and Trump does, I will vote for Trump, with whatever issues, before a Hillary or Sanders in a heartbeat...and I will not stay home and throw the election to either of them either.
The country cannot afford that.
At least with Trump, should it go that way...particularly if he surrounds himself with these types of people, we will make progress...much needed progress...in a number of critical areas.
The border will get closed with a fence as it should..
The Refugees will stop.
Our foreign policy will get a LOT better.
Obama Care will get repealed.
The Tax problem will start to get addressed.
Things for the economy and business will get a lot better.
etc.
Despite this endorsement...I still think Cruz may pull Iowa out of the hat. Letâs wait and see.
