Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.

I watched him read beautifully today from the script the K St lobbyists wrote out for him outlining why we need to keep scamming the US taxpayers to make a few Iowa corn farmers rich.
I thought that would bother conservatives, mr tough anti establishment trump pandering and grovling before the crony “capitalists”

I’m not sure it is but only time will tell. We have got to gut DC first, not doing so will get us no where no matter what conservative is elected. I think the globalist agenda, be it economic or immigration, is our biggest threat surpassing socially am at the point. Win that battle first then on to the rest. If trump is elected I hope he can do that if he is not “knocked off” first.

Surprised and a bit disappointed, but this pretty much assures that Trump will be the nominee.
I prefer Cruz, but it is an easy decision tro vote for Trump if it is him v any Democrat.
Probably for the same reasons she's always there for Arizona Johnny. Publicity. Her gig politically has been up for quite a while. More news coverage/publicity a few more speaking engagements etc.

Trump received a very high (363) draft number for his birthday (June 14) and unlike Clinton he was not drafted and then dodged.
I know this because I work with a friend who shares the exact birthday and he explained it to me months ago.

Even as a Cruz supporter, I can concur with your assessment at post 194. And I was thinking, one of the worries voiced about Trump is that he will (at best) be an executive-order-writing patriot (as opposed to an EO-writing liberal, at worst). That actually could have a silver lining, since Congress has become so emasculated over the decades. We know they will never oppose an EO-writing Democrat. But if they grow a pair to oppose an EO-writing Trump, it might begin to restore some of the Constitutional checks and balances that have been lost.
