Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.
Sarah Palin brought John McCain between 15 an 20% of the total vote.
Without her, Republicans would have sat on their hands en mass.
Sarah was never my cup of tea like she was so many others. She did not fail. She did remarkably well under the circumstances.
LOL. But Trump has been way further over the map. I'm not saying I trust Cruz, but much more than Trump. Disingenuousness? And Trump isn't? He was bashing Romney for being too tough a few years ago. He proposes things he has no intention of doing like building a wall and touchback amnesty. He has zero understanding of economics.
Citizenship to a country that he was too young to even remember being in? He didn’t “hide” anything. He had no more knowledge that he was a Canadian citizen than you, me or anyone else. That all depends on the laws of Canada with respect to birthright citizenship at the time of his birth.
.
Palin saw $$$ and took.
Nobody knows what their own price is until they get the offer.
Maybe people believe Trump is the only man with the stones to:
A: Beat the Democrats and their dominating demographic.
B: Beat the Media.
C: Close the borders and build the wall.
D: Make trade deals that favor Americans.
Maybe Cruz can do C and D, but A and B ain’t never gonna happen. Ever. Face reality.
I’m practicing Trumps : STUPID. Really really big. ! YUGE even!
I’m still lost with so many threads. Don’t want to miss Our Sarah speaking!
He has zero understanding of economics.
Which is weird ‘cause he’s a billionaire and ought to know these things.
Personal favorite: Dave Brat.

Don’t go poaching my Congressman........
Took a lot of work to get a good one and throw out the weasel Eric Cantor.
I agree with you there.
“For whatever reason, I really haven’t found it necessary to takes sides when it comes to Cruz or Trump. They each have positives that I could support, and they both have negatives I can overlook. We aren’t in a position to find the perfect candidate for 2016. We are almost in a state of emergency, and this is triage. Let’s stop the bleeding, and then fix the underlying problem. And if the Republican establishment is part of the problem, it will need to be addressed.”
Extremely well said.
Great post D1.
The Snake Handlers here are incapable of understanding.
“Trump is for Trump, anyone else and the country come second.”
Funny....I’ve been watching Trump since 1985, and he always professed his love for America. You must have been elsewhere the past 30 years.
‘He has zero understanding of economics’
Nick, the man is worth billions of dollars. What makes you say these things?
We all knew that this was coming, but wished that it wouldn’t.
Cruz is a man after God`s own heart...
Reality TV stars stick together.
Simon Cowell for V.P.?
Trump did say more than once, that he really wanted to win Iowa.
BAM!
“Not only will Cruz not be VP,
I doubt Trump would nominate Cruz
for Supreme Court.”
He knew when he was a college student and going into and out of Canada with friends.
Cruz can't win with folks like you AND the GOPe.
Cruz got criticized by the the GOPe on the NRSC for being one of only two senators to work with the SCF raising money in 2013 to defeat RINO colleagues.
The GOPe then pressured Cruz to stop his work with the SCF, so in 2014 Cruz stops. In July of 2014 Cruz gets booted from his NSRC co-chair position and he resigns.
So we have Trump and Trump supporters criticizing Cruz for not getting along with the GOPe and at the same time we have Trump supporters blaming Cruz for getting along with the GOPe.
As I said in another post, we will not get another GOP senator in this generation who is going to fight the GOPe. And it's because we have folks on our side who will stab such a senator in both the back and the front.
I noticed. So did Sarah.
You should be the last person to speak for Sarah. I remember you trashing her in 2011.
