A spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign said Tuesday it would be a "blow" to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she endorsed businessman Donald Trump for president.
"I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN's "New Day."

It would be interesting and helpful to see the documentation.
I was especially angered at the way 187 was nullified when it was overwhelmingly supported by the voters in California.
At this time, the percentages have flipped in CA, there are now more of those deemed âHispanicsâ here than there are Caucasians.
I don’t have confirmation on the Prop. 187 thing so I wouldn’t try to hang it on Cruz. And you’re right, it’s an explosive charge for those of us that remember that battle.
One thing is for sure: Pre 2010 TEA party wave Cruz was GOPe all the way. Princeton, Harvard, Bush admin, etc. So Cruz fighting against 187 would fit right in with that.
Ditto.
Actually it is Bristol Palin who made the post... but it is SPOT ON just as if her mother had written it.
That’s way too professional for Bristol to have slapped together in between changing diapers. IT’S A TRAP! RUN! Is my advice to Team Cruz. Instead they are walking right into the chain saw. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Someone in the campaign released a statement, Does Cruz know about it? He certainly would not lash out if he didn`t think she might endorse.
Ted would have a right to be upset if Sarah his Sister in Christ endorsed the poc Trump, absolutely.
John Wayne’s daughter endorsed Trump I guess that was not the announcement .
So if Sarah endorses Trump everybody goes home, I think not. I think some people can still think for themselves
Says on Drudge and at the link that it was Bristol
If Cruz is half as corrupt as Trump, I will not support him either.
Other than Crony Capitalism, what excuse does Donald Trump have for giving $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation? Because he loves the work they do?????
Interesting, thanks for the response.
Team Cruz attacked Palin’s judgment and therefore character:
Try this instead:
“I thank Sarah for her friendship, previous endorsement of me and look forward to her supporting me in the General election after I win the nomination.”
I love @SarahPalinUSA Without her support, I wouldn't be in the Senate. Regardless of what she does in 2016, I will always be a big fan.— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) January 19, 2016

And God would desire that, even we, repent of our ridiculous notions of “Christian piety” lest we try to prove ourselves “more Christian” than others.
The onus is on you...not me.
Mr. Trump, after all the money you dumped into this project it would be an awful shame if the application for your building permit got lost.
As for Bristol Palin -- it wouldn't matter WHAT Bristol was saying, even if I agreed with it -- advancing Bristol Palin any kind of political credibility, is EXACTLY THE SAME as when leftists advance political credibility to Chelsea Clinton. I have NEVER been any more interested in the thoughts of one as in the other. Yet I see Trump supporters here loving Bristol's take. They would be rejecting it of course if was the opposite, and I, if it was opposite, would give it exactly the same credence either way: Bristol is best comparable to Chelsea, and about as valuable to political discourse.
If Palin supports Trump, it will be a blow for conservatism, not just Palin. I hope she stands by Cruz.
i will vote for any US born Republican candidate. Can’t vote foreign born. I am shocked by the number of people here who are willing to vote for the foreign born candidate.
Don’t think I have ever seen the ugliness of Cruz supporters for any other candidate, worse than rabid democrats.
Ted’s idea of winning is attacking everyone, he thinks Jesus endorses his campaign. Ted is going nowhere!
I am seriously starting to dislike the guy. Palin has to much class to diss Cruz but she should.

You have nailed one thing. Business people in large cities are getting sick of having to donate to get things done. US politicians are getting more like Mexico everyday.
Kudos to Cruz for getting that out there quickly.
