I know what youâre thinking because everyone else is thinking it.
It canât be her. Can it?
Join me on Tuesday, January 19th at the Iowa State University Hansen Agricultural Student Learning Center in Ames, Iowa! I will have a major announcement and a very special guest in attendance. You will not want to miss this rally!
Mark Halperin tweets, âDoes anybody know where @SarahPalinUSA plans to be on Tuesday?â GOP consultant Matt Mackowiak is also guessing Palin. The Freepers at Free Republic? Mostly guessing Palin, although some of the anti-Trumpers there expect Bernie Sanders to drop out and back Trump instead. Realistically, assuming itâs an endorsement worthy of being promoted on Trumpâs Facebook page, who else could it be? The only big-name Republican I can think of who might conceivably endorse Trump is Jeff Sessions (he appeared briefly at a Trump rally in Alabama last year), but Cruz consulted with Sessions before rolling out his immigration plan last fall so maybe that keeps Sessions neutral. Palin is a more predictable match in every way. She and Trump have been allies for years. No other pols have excited right-wing populists during the Obama era the way each of them has. When asked by CNN in November who the âstandoutâ candidate in the race was, Palin mentioned Trump, not Cruz, which surprised me at the time. And Palin recently praised Marion Maréchal-Le Penâs movement in France, signaling her openness to Trump-style nationalism. It would make sense if she went all-in for him.

It would seem that Allahpundit is a bit behind the curve.
It’s JEB! mother. She s coming to endorse Trump.
Meghan McCain? Laura Bush? Beyoncé?
It’s Mittens Romney, returning the favor of 2012 when Trump endorsed Romney at the start of primary season.

Trump endorses Romney in Las Vegas, Feb. 2, 2012.
Why didn't Allah Pinhead mention this speculation?
Third time’s the charm
All right who posted that bizarre theory? We're trying to appear sane here.
It is Palin
Well, I hope it’s not Sarah Palin. I love her and she’s the only reason I voted in ‘08. (Can refer to my posts from then.) But she’s got too much baggage now and would only detract from Trump’s campaign.
Next to Trump’s children, Palin’s kids are a mess. The MSM will have a field day.
The MSM will haul out every negative they used in ‘08, whether true or not, and they’ll add to it. Huge distraction for Trump.
In ‘08, there were a ton of conservative Sarah haters, even on FR, so it makes sense that Sarah hating could impact the conservative voting pool. This could, and probably would, take votes from Trump who either are on the fence now, or in his camp but hate Sarah more than they like Trump.
They’ll be back to the old crap like, “I can see Russia from my house”, a Tina Fey line, but idiotic people actually believe Sarah said it. It’ll be nonstop, and a bloodbath.
Give her a TOP Cabinet position after election, but low-key now.
Just MHO; could be wrong. I recall the day McCain announced his pick for Sarah, and I was so happy! We knew a mysterious private plane had left Alaska for the Lower 48, and figured out what was going on. She would’ve been the best, but they annihilated her in the press.
Nah. This is a great thing. It helps Trump shore up the conservative base in Iowa. He generates loads of publicity and takes Ted off his game for another week. Ted will be fielding questions for a few days now about why Sarah chose Trump and not him. It will plant the seed in the public’s mind that Ted is #2. Sarah will not hurt Trump at all in the general. Most of the general public are zombies who wont remember this if they even hear of it at all. This is all about Iowa and SC. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump gets Gov. Branstad next week too. Art of the Deal.
I agree, having her as a VP might alienate the crossovers, but having her as an endorsement gives her a mouth piece that everyone will want to quote.
I think she’s going to jump in and help him.
It will remain to be seen what the response is.
It gives him a female to go after Hillary as well.
It doesn’t matter, who ever these two people will by you know it’s going to be:
HHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhuUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuge!!!!!!!!!
Oh, for God’s sake. I voted for Romney and so did a lot of people here (including the owner, I believe). I hope Palin endorses him, just to see heads exploding.
It would be a great thing if its Sarah Palin. But, Trump may have another in mind. Trump may be new to this political thing—but he learns quick and he is fast becoming a political leader who fights back. He’s like an Iowa Class Battleship. Fire at him and you will get a broadside of 16 inch guns in return. Ted Cruz may have made an error in taking him on. Romney? I don’t think so. Mitt should have jumped into the race 7 months ago.
