How many bands no longer have any living members?

The Ramones are the only one I can think of.

I don’t think any of the original Ink Spots are alive.

That's the only major rock band I can think of with no living original members. Even the Crickets of Buddy Holly have one of the original members still hanging in there (Jerry Alison).

I even checked Elvis Presley's original backing band - if they could be called a band at all. But D.J. Fontana (drummer) is still alive and kicking.
