Mark shouldn't be so confused, in NH the General Court is the State Legislature, the Judicial Court is the Supreme who are also the Appellate Court so they get two tries.

It is even better in Mass. The Supreme General Court of the Commonwealth is the Legislature, the Supreme Judaical Court is just that, you have an Appellate Court, a Superior Court, which is also an Appellate court of Appeals from the District Court, the former was created when hanging witches was popular.
