For reasons such as the topic of this thread.
It isn’t hate, by the way.
It just isn’t adoration like many have for him.
that was not an interview, it was an interrogation. Wallace did his very best to maliciously and trap Ted Cruz with virtually every sentence. I was so disgusted I wanted to throw my flip flop at the TV. ic Wallace pull this crap all the time. Snide little bastard
This entire issue is absolutely nothing more than a attempt by Cruz enemies to make this into something that it is not.
This has nothing to do with reading or understanding the legislation, this is nothing but a simple staff mix-up that was corrected IMMEDIATELY.
Proof again that there is no molehill too small to be made a mountain of.
Because there are a lot of AKA snobs around here and they think that Cruz is a mongrel and not a pure bred.
Exactly why we don't need a leader from government. In fact, we don't need 3/4 of those asses in Congress either.
Hold on, Mike Gallagher is the son of Dan Wallace? Who’s Dan Wallace? Now Chris Wallace is the son of Mike Wallace. That’s the connection I know about anyway.
he sounds like obama...... everyone else’s fault
is worse than donating to the clintons, pelosi and harry reid and supporting abortion
...but it’s ok when they do this to Trump or another candidate right?....just as long as they don’t hurt poor little teddy’s feelings....
LOL, I can’t watch the video right now but sometime Cruz really needs to man up and not blame someone else.
Clintonesque comes to mind.
Nothing that goes wrong is EVER addressed in first person terms with Ted.
The missing report of loans to proper authorities, point to generic filing done, but not in terms of “I” failed to file...
Cruz points “over there” at Donald, who was born in the USA to a citizen mother, rather than address the issue of Cruz’ own citizenship, undeniably Canadian until 18 months ago, because he was born in Canada, as a Canadian, to Canadian citizen parents.
Rubio was born in the USA also.
FWIW, “Natural” originally meant ties to the “land” of birth, and originally that context defined Natural Born Citizenship, according to Tribe’s interesting argument, explaining that that the definition has changed, even as recently as the 60’s, and has over the decades become an “open question”, constitutionally.
thats the TRumper Tactic!!....
everything matters even anti matter....
All I hear is how smart Cruz is. He has two Ivy League degrees...
Yet others managed to understand what they voted for, but Cruz did not - nor does he have a smart staff to help him.
And Chris Wallace’s reaction of accepting Cruz’s valid explanation totally supports your post.
I was against it until I voted for it.
Agreed about Wallace. He seems to think it’s his obligation to zero right in on only the events/issues by which he can undermine Cruz.
Oddly enough, Mike Wallace was a very good friend of Nancy Reagan.
They showed it in a clip....
I think 3 to 5 minutes elapsed between votes (one yea and one nay) I doubt that someone could have “gotten to him” in that short a time,
His explanation rings true and I bet it happens a lot
-Snip-
"Roberts indicated that Cruz knew what he was voting on and had been persuaded to change his mind. Roberts said he had told Cruz that a "no" vote might hurt his prospects in the presidential race. It was the kind of appeal to which any politician might respond.
"There was a little matter that there was a state called Iowa that he might want to think about,â Roberts recalled saying, as Politico reported. Other reporters also heard Roberts tell the same story about persuading Cruz to change his vote by referencing Iowa..."
