Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) fired back on Saturday after Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump launched a lengthy, furious tweetstorm at him. Cruz reportedly suggested that Trump´s attacks came in response to a new poll that showed him losing in a head-to-head competition with the senator. "That has got to drive him nuts, and I imagine it sent him out of bed this morning tweeting and tweeting and tweeting," Cruz said, according to The Texas Tribune and other outlets. Cruz then reportedly said Trump´s behavior wouldn´t be appropriate for a "commander in chief."

Obama’s selfies aren’t presidential, either, and he’s still there...
Neither is singling out and insulting the voters of one of the UNITED States.
Are Ted’s feelings hurt? Ahhhh. Ted is probably angry about getting busted on the Goldman Sachs “loans”.
Nothing about Trump is presidential. He’s an arrogant, abusive loud mouth He’s an emotionally immature, naive (at best) dolt. A super rich one, but still a dolt. His gushing over Putin is just one of many indications that he isn’t fit for the job.
Neither is singling out and insulting the voters of one of the UNITED States.Didn't Trump call Iowans stupid?
I don’t agree with the substance of a lot of what Trump and Cruz are launching at one another. But begun, this Trump Cruz war has.
Large popcorn please, extra butter.
So says the recent Canadian.
Busted for reporting them, publicly, on one form rather than on another public form? “Busted” - this word you keep using, I do not think it means what you think it means.
Cry baby. His failures of memory and blaming of underlings is unpresidential.
Cruz doesn’t have the resources that Trump does in terms of $$$, which means I have to keep on sending Ted my support.
Trump will attack everyone out there and in the end he will wonder like a little child why he ‘has no friends’.
Trump was praising Cruz a few months back and considering how Trump turns on a dime to say different sounding things about people (his opponents show his praise of the Clintons in the past) I would say Trump may turn again and praise Cruz in the future, if Trump wins.
Will Hillary get this treatment in the end if Trump goes onto victory?
I have five percent confidence in the GOP and that includes the only two I would vote for as presidential candidates, Cruz or Trump.
They have to deal with the 95 percent non-conservative part of the GOP and the 100 percent non-conservative Democrats.
If you can’t handle the tweets get out of the kitchen.
Alls fair in love, war, and politics.
You smear who you fear...
.
“New York Values” ... 75 percent voted for the anti-police food-neo-Nazi socialist Mayor DeBlasio ...
Ted Cruz was 100 hundred thousand percent correct.
If you think “New York Values” are so damned wonderful, send us a postcard when you move your family there, and (try) to find a good job ... and own a gun ...
.
“Politics ain’t beanbag”
They must be working!!!
NO ONE supporting Trump can complain about a candidate insulting others. What a freaking embarrassment. New York City is a cesspool of politics and decency. The percentage of abortions that take place is monumental. They elected a pro-Castro communist. The entire country knows NYC is a cesspool. It’s great place to visit. There are many good people there. That has nothing to do with the state of things. California, Boston, and every left-wing disaster still includes good people. This attack is ridiculous.
Seriously, we watched both Trump and Cruz at the SC Tea Party meeting. It occurred to us that Cruz sounds a nasty and divisive as Obama did on the campaign trail. Just without the teleprompter. And then we remembered that Ted has an audio-graphic memory, so he doesn’t need to read a teleprompter.
More and more I am thinking the Founders had the right idea when they restricted the people who could run for President to citizens born on US Soil to parents, both of whom had allegiance to no other sovereignty.
Iowa doesn’t count...only NYC...
