No worries. The crowds at Trump events will only increase.

Looks like Trump is all alone going against the giants and if Rush chooses to bash Trump, then let him.

It will not change the majority of who Trump supporters will vote for in the primary. Trumps support will continue to grow.

“I have faith in the conservative Christians in Iowa not to buy into the leftist from New York and will vote for the true conservative, Cruz.”

Cruz is likely more of a conservative, but he hasn’t proven that he can lead people nor that he can build coalitions to get things done.

That is a President’s job. It is not the role for an attorney.

I would not be surprised if Cruz wins Iowa. They don’t consistently pick the person who wins the nomination.

I implied that he calls EVERYONE else an idiot. I should have said,

Mark “You’re an Idiot!” Levin....

Didn’t mean he’s an idiot.

Kabuki

Rush is a neighbor of Trump. Ask where he spent New Year’s Eve

Each player has a roll to play. We are finishing act I of a multi scene play.
There is much going on back stage than the American people who weren’t up to date on the entire BO birth certificate challenge are not aware of

Both Trump and C ruz are patriots and love the constitution. They have risked either alone or together their lives, fortune, and honor
We need to stand by both and not allow the GOPee and D operatives divide us

Affirmation of eligibility is assigned by the Constitution to Congress, and only to Congress.

Well, I see it as a Separation of Powers thing.

Congress has the role you describe, but Congress is limited by language in the Constitution. The Constitution says that only a Natural Born Citizen can be president. Congress cannot change that. So the question becomes: What is the official definition of Natural Born Citizen.

The Supreme Court is often tasked with "explaining" the Constitution.
But perhaps we could have Congress make the determination.

My point is that I don't like "government" to just give a thumbs up or a thumbs down to individuals -- "This guy? Not eligible. That guy? Yeah, he's OK."

We need criteria. Congress can declare eligibility, but I'd like to see them define it: So-and-so is eligible, because they are a Natural Born Citizen, based on this set of criteria ..."

I think we currently have a situation where the Powers That Be just do what they want. The whole idea of a written Constitution is that government shouldn't operate on the principle that the Powers That Be just do what they want.

Thats because it’s BS.

Santorum was born in Virginia.

His parents were Italian immigrants.

They were not US Citizens at the time of his birth.

Iowa had it wrong the last few cycles. They picked Santorum.

Oh and even better, IOWA gave all their electoral votes to Obama in the general.

On election day, Barack Obama won Iowa with 51.99% of the vote to Mitt Romney’s 46.18%, a Democratic victory margin of 5.81%.

Great if Trump wins Iowa in the primary, but there is no doubt Trump will win Iowa in the general.

I hope he does. If Trump could get a court to make a determination on this, then he would’ve already done more for us than anyone else out there.

I’m sure Rubio agrees about the VP slot. He gets prestigious title that doesn’t require any real work.

Fan of both Trump and Cruz. But in that order. If Cruz becomes the nominee it will be a great thing for our country.

Just expect Trump to be the nominee and will also be great for our country.

Rubios young. Im wondering if he would be a better candidate to be mentored by Trump... hes very smart on national security...

Well, in the unlikely event Trump does get the nomination, he certainly needs someone who is smart on national security because Trump is downright ignorant on the subject:

Question: Of the three legs of the triad, though, do you have a priority?

Trump: I think, I think, for me, nuclear is just the power, the devastation is very important to me.

Trump is clearly not someone ready to be commander in chief.

Trump will lead coalitions Schumer, McConnell, Pelosi and Ryan, but I suspect neither you nor I will like them.
Cruz makes the GOPe shake with fear as they should,

So many first and second generation Americans are running for office, quickly getting bored with that and then running for president! So we have all this natural born crap that was unheard of when I first started voting.
