He said that he didn't fight back because they held up their babies as shields, and said they would drop them if they wouldn't get to move into apartments.

This is something my husband and I have been struggling with. We’ve been talking about a trip to Europe for two years. We were planning to go in the spring, but not now.
It’s ironic you would mention vacationing in Europe. I lived in London for a year back in the 80’s. I have been diligently saving to visit Paris & other parts of France. It sure is not looking like a place that one would feel safe visiting. I am heartbroken, even more so for the Europeans. It seems like every day we read of new horrors unfolding in parts of Europe. I still shake my head in disbelief at the leaders who allowed this to happen. I cannot imagine the burning hot anger & betrayal that the Europeans must feel.

For the past several years I’ve looked at going to Europe to visit and see as much as I could.
Since Europe is being overrun and ruined, I’ll pass.

So what do I see?
Military aged young men who should be at home fighting for their old parents and grandparents, wives, sisters, daughters, children.

If they’re truly fleeing ISIS and Syria’s Assad then why leave those other, more vulnerable people behind?
