If most people in NY, and it absolutely is most, if not damn near everyone there today, can't even do that minimum yet important thing for their fellow citizens of the city, particularly in a dangerously overcrowded like NY, they are very unlikely of doing anything more substantial. How difficult is it to simply motion to a driver you're walking directly in front of at a crosswalk that their lights are off. Or are you one of those self-centered creeps that just doesn't give a crap about anyone else? No need to answer. You obviously are.
