Ted Cruz poked the bear.
During the Republican debate Thursday night, front-runner Donald Trump and Cruz -- who has moved into second place in most polls -- had a few sharp exchanges.
The fallout from the big one -- Cruz's attack on "New York values" -- dominated the campaign chatter Friday and is still bubbling. Said Cruz: "Everyone understands that the values in New York City are socially liberal or pro-abortion or pro-gay marriage-focus around money and the media."
Trump's response: "Very insulting." He then launched into a passionate defense of New York, including the city's response to 9/11.
Most called it one of Trump's better moments in the debates. (Cruz has since apologized -- not that Trump is buying it.)
Well, Trump is back Saturday morning with a volley of Tweets -- all directed at Cruz:

Oh, so it’s not you it’s your daughter who follows the Kardashians. Got it. Right.
That is because The media fear Cruz more than Trump.
Did the elites get to Trump and threaten him? Unlikely. Did they buy him? Probably not. Did they make deals with him? Maybe. Why do they think HE is now all of a sudden, not the Republican bogeyman anymore? Even after he said the things about a building a border wall and cutting off muslim immigration?
To use Trumps EXACT words, "There's something going on, and it's bad."

When you make stupid open ended comments in front of a national audience, ya better expect nearly everyone to make an example out of you.

Are naturally insulting or is it genetic?
The media, in spite of months of attacking Trump, realizes that there is a YUGE majority supporting Trump, that a Trump nominee/Presidency is more and more likely. They can continue to fight, or deal with reality. Looks like they’re begrudgingly accepting the latter.
Something bad going on, for sure...and Trump has exposed it.
This is why Trump is leading in double digits. He constantly advances his position.

Trump was never allowed to appear toshred anyone, in the eyes of the mainstream media, even when he did truly shred them. And I have seen him do it.
The media, simply prefers Trump over Cruz for President. Not only for the entertainment value.
Now I fear, the GOPe and the rest of the left prefer Trump over Cruz. I'd like everyone to think about why that would be.
If Trump wins, great. But I fear we are going to have to really keep an eye on him; more than we would Cruz.
